Aldis Architecture

We are very grateful to Mark Aldis for the work that he did to design our extension, and support us during the time when it was being built. When we began to look for an architect, he telephoned us promptly and listened very well to our needs. Face-to-face, he took great pains to understand what we wanted and explore different options. He expanded our ideas through his own original suggestions, to make best use of space and produce a really comfortable, practical and aesthetically pleasing result. Working in partnership with us, he shared his draft ideas and plans with us and advised us on outline costs. He produced terrific architectural drawings and specifications, and made a successful planning application on our behalf. When we needed quotes, Mark introduced us to different high-quality builders, who had worked with him on other projects. Mark offered to stay in touch and continue to answer any questions whilst the extension was being built, and was very prepared to liaise with the builder when needed. Our extension was focused meeting some more complex disability needs, and his plans led to these being met fully.
