I have just finished my first 10 sessions and loved every single one of them, not only do I feel fitter and stronger, but i have toned up and now have a healthy BMI.
It was great that I could arrange with Alastair times that suited me and fitted around my life. Each session was different and was made fun. I have an ankle injury and this was taken in to consideration when planning the session, Alastair also advised me on some exercises to help strengthen my ankle and it feels much better. I can't wait to start my next 10 sessions

Some of you know but a couple of months ago I decided to change some things around in my life and decided to eat better and actually exercise. I know what I'm like and once I start to ache I'll stop doing it or stop going to the gym (that was a waste of money)

I wanted to lose weight and tone/build the muscles that still work so life in my chair might be easier.

I looked around and found Alaster Griggs, a personal trainer based in Hythe, we met and discussed my goals and needs.

Our sessions together are the hardest I've ever physically worked but with the encouragement and motivation that Alistair gives me we get through an hour and it doesn't feel like a chore

The exercise coupled with his advice on nutrition has produced results in only few a weeks.

It's difficult for me to weigh myself so it's more of a "how do I look in the mirror?" and how do I feel. It's still not a pretty site but I look thinner and have more energy

Being over 50, found it hard to lose my weight, but with in 4 week doing pt with Alastair, have gone down a dress size, really enjoy it, and would not go with anyone else now

I’ve been personal training with Alastair twice a week for 6 weeks, he’s a pleasure to work with it’s a hard but a fun hour. He uses a big variety of techniques which is great as it never gets boring. I’d highly recommend him if your looking to increase your fitness and his meal planning on weight loss. More...

After having a baby I really battled to lose my baby weight and I have really battled to find the time to exercise since returning back to work full time. I joined Alastair Griggs bootcamp on 1 October of this year as his classes suited my lifestyle as a full time working mother (Wed evening at 7pm and Sunday mornings at 9am) and two months later I have lost 1 stone in weight, I have lost inches in all the right places and my confidence in myself has slowly returned due to this weight loss. It shows what a bit of exercise, cutting down on portion sizes and drinking lots of water can do. I still have a few more pounds to shed but continuing with bootcamp twice a week will definitely help me achieve this. The classes are so much fun and vary every week, I look forward to every session and I have met some really amazing people. Before I started going to Alistairs bootcamp, I was unfit and lacked motivation to do any exercise! I was hesitant to join the boot camps in fear that I wouldnt be able to keep up with everyone else and be judged on how unfit I was. Alistairs boot camps are fun, playful, inclusive and although challenging, really enjoyable! Alistair is motivating and so are all the people that take part! So far my best results include general improvements in my fitness all round, stamina and an understanding of preferred techniques in order to master my press ups, squats and more! I’m enjoying going to the Friday evening sessions very much,I do yoga and Pilates classes during the week and have been looking to do more in the way of cardio so was very pleased I was recommended to Alastair,he lets you go at your own pace and is also very motivating the sessions are always varied and fun you have a laugh while getting fitter. in the past I have suffered from bad anxiety and one of the ways that helps me deal with it along with other things is excercise and being outdoors,I leave work feeling tired and all I want to do is go home have my dinner and veg out on the sofa but I make myself go to Alastairs boot camp as soon as we start I wake up and when I leave I feel great!!!very energised.......big thumbs up More...

I was approaching 50 and felt that if I didn’t do something about how unfit I was before I turned 50, it would be too late.
I had no reservations in coming to Alastair at all. He came highly recommended.
I feel better in myself, I love coming because we work hard but always have fun doing it. Subsequently, I am definitely fitter and more toned.

Being 60 overweight and totally unfit I knew if I wanted an active retirement in a few years I needed to make some changes but hated the gym. It took a couple of months before I plucked up the courage to go to my first bootcamp as I was worried I wouldn't be able to do it and look silly. I need not of worried as Alastair was so welcoming and encouraging and it is such a friendly bunch of people. No two sessions are the same and suit all levels of fitness, I have now gone from 1 session a week to 3 and look forward to every class. It has only been a couple of months but already I am feeling fitter and lots more energy, I have also lost some weight and noticing a change in my body shape. More...
