Last year these ladies did the most fantastic afternoon tea for a group of myself and friends and it was so nice we did it all again yesterday. They then went on to do us a curry and chilli later in the evening to soak up the alcohol lol. All the food was absoltely delicious . Well done to Joanne and Alison you did yourselves proud again. Just wanted to say a massive thank you for the buffet supplied for my Mums 70th birthday on Saturday 27th July. Jo was so helpful and advised me with regards to numbers and choices. It was a great selection and everyone was impressed with the selection and presentation. communication and response time was impeccable by the ladies and the service provided was so friendly and helpful. if we were to have another event in the future I would not hesitate to use the services again and would certainly recommend to anyone in the future. We used A & J Caterers for a family funeral where we wanted something more than the standard buffet. Al and Jo provided a wide ranging menu of finger food that catered for both traditional and more modern tastes, including an interesting selection of sweet and savoury choices. Before the day they were helpfully informative and the buffet itself far exceeded our expectations. The food was fresh and attractively displayed, with clear labelling and proved to be delicious. The price per guest was extremely good value.The food was freshly prepared in their kitchen on the day and delivered to our venue and set up in good time for the celebrations. The food was presented in lovely long platters and matching bowls and dishes. It looked and tasted fantastic. Jo & Allison recently catered for my mum’s 70th birthday. They have a huge choice of menu items and were very knowledgeable about dietary requirements and I felt very reassured they were able to cater for my gluten, dairy and egg allergies/ intolerances. We had plain and Spanish style chicken drumsticks, savoury rice, onion bahjis, and veg pakoras for me. They also did sandwiches, sausage rolls, mini quiches, tempura prawns with sweet chilli dip, cocktail sausages, Scotch eggs, pork pies, mini pizza bites, roasted veg & cheese tartlets, and cheese & onion pastry rolls for everyone else. It was all lovely and got many compliments. We also had a chocolate tray bake and an amazing coffee and walnut cake. Lovely ladies to deal with, good comms and fab food. Can definitely recommend. On behalf of my sister and families, we would like to thank you for the superb buffet of fresh homemade sandwiches, sausages rolls etc, that you provided last week for the funeral of my nephew Keith. Arrived on time, presentation and layout was perfect, just the right amount of food for eighty people. You showed great professionalism in the service provided, and your friendliness towards the guests, and afterwards in clearing away your equipment leaving no mess at all. I booked these caterers with only a few days notice to cater for my 60th birthday .The service was excellent ,all food tasty, plentiful,well presented and homemade, A and J provided table cloths and plates and everything was on disposable platters so easy to clear.
