My hair held all day in 24° weather and my make up was fab, I was so so hot and my face was sweating but you couldn't even tell on the pictures! Outstanding from beginning to end. From the trial through to the actual day Aimee was so easy to communicate and bounce ideas off. Im not a hair and make-up kind of girl and not only did Aimee make my bridal team and I feel completely comfortable but she hit the mark with exactly what I wanted. I felt really pretty, which is not my default setting and that was before I received so many compliments on my hair and makeup. Not only did Aimee transform myself she also worked with my non-English speaking Mother-In-Law, my Matron of honour and an impromptu last minute guest.All with complete calmness and warm professionalism. Aimee did my hair along with my Mum’s and bridesmaids. She was fantastic at the trial at finding something I loved when I had no real idea of what I wanted! Really can't express how happy I was to find Aimee , it was a secret wedding in York where I didn't know anyone or could even ask for recommendations, all I can say is she was wonderful, my hair and make up were just what I imagined, I didn't have a trial so she created the look from scratch on the morning. Everything about Aimee is professional and she just puts you at ease she was so easy to get on with and she even helped me in to my dress which was lovely of her. I booked Aimee to do my wedding hair and make up as well as the hair and make up for my bridesmaids. From the beginning, Aimee was excellent responding quickly to e-mails and being flexible with our requests in a warm, friendly manner that made you feel immediately comfortable. On the day, Aimee arrived promptly to the minute and worked tirelessly all morning to ensure we each got the look we wanted. We had not had trials and Aimee was able to work from photographs to copy the look we all wanted exactly and, needless to say, I was thrilled with the outcome and loved both my hair and make up. Aimee did my hair and make-up for my wedding, as well as my bridesmaid and mum. Coming from someone who is completely useless at make-up, Aimee's knowledge made the whole experience extremely easy and really put me at ease.
My mum was a bit unsure as to what style would best suit her hair but Aimee was able to help her decide on a style which suited her wonderfully - she actually paid to have her hair and make-up done for an event a few weeks later and, though nice, found it be nowhere near as good as what Aimee did.
Aside from her abundance of skill and knowledge, Aimee is just a genuinely lovely person and, whether she knew it or not, helped to keep me calm while getting ready. She even helped do up my dress when my sister's nails got in the way!
Also I have quite sensitive skin and often find make-up can look "flaky" however I didn't have this problem on the big day, thanks to Aimee's advice during my make-up trial and the high quality make-up she used.
100% would recommend Aimee to anyone who asked and will definitely keep her in mind for any future events. More...

Aimee came to our home with a treasure chest full of quality make up & hair products on the day of my wedding. She put us at ease with her sense of humour and air of calmness. The whole experience was relaxing and fun. With her genius make up skills she made me feel confident and beautiful, even when heavily pregnant, after three hours sleep! She also made my flower girl feel like a princess with some hair curls and clips. Aimee did my makeup and hair for my wedding. Aimee also did my mum and two sisters.She arrived at 8am and had done all of us by 12. 30.She was so lovely and calming and made the whole morning a wonderful part of my wedding day.She did an amazing job on my makeup and did exactly what I wanted - I chose quite a different look and she did it perfectly. She air brushed my makeup which gave an amazing look. She also used really good quality makeup.She put in extensions and curled all my hair together and pinned it up with my vale and hair piece. Aimee did my hair and makeup for my wedding (Aug 2016), I absolutely loved it! Aimee is so lovely and easy to get on with so it puts you at ease when your getting a little nervous! One of my bridesmaids had her make up done with Aimee which was fab, my sisters saw what a brilliant job Aimee had done that they asked if they could have theirs done to!
