Each home is different and as such there is no rule. We recommend getting guidance from an experienced construction professional, as conversion will require a review of the local planning regulations and submission for building control approval.

Firstly you need to check the loft has suitable space available to be converted. For example, a clear head height of minimum 2 metres is required. There also needs to be room on the lower level to introduce a staircase, this may reduce the size of an existing bedroom or bathroom, so this is worth checking with an Architect to make best use of the space.

Having gained several years experience working for a number of large scale, award winning studios, I decided to set up my own business. My ambition is use my design skills and construction experience to help like-minded clients at a more intimate scale.

From the simple replanning of living spaces, to designing a cosy rear extension to a terrace house - my job is to help improve how my clients live and enjoy their property or place of business.

As a young architecture studio, we will go above and beyond for our clients with the aim of achieving their dream project. We have years of experience in building with strict budget requirements and extracting the best out of standard but beautiful materials. Simply put, we will provide better value for your money than other more established companies.

Furthermore, we are fully registered with the Architects Registration Board and the Royal Institute of British Architects where you can find and validate our credentials.
