Jamie completed the planning application for our side return extension in West London. He was very thorough professional and produced high quality drawings very quickly. Despite difficult neighbours requiring us to resubmit multiple times he diligently saw the application through to approval. I would highly recommend Jamie and will continue to use his services as we move forward with the build. More...

We are in the midst of working g with Jamie and we’re so happy we decided to work with him. He’s incredibly kind and genuinely cares about our flat and living arrangement. Jamie’s light heartedness and enthusiasm is really appreciated, he’s very proactive and takes onboard feedback super fast. He’s also very creative which is giving us lots of fresh ideas of how to look at our space. He’s also gone the extra mile by contacting contractors and workers to help us keep an eye on the budget and guide us through to the best option we have against our budget. Definitely someone we would recommend. C&L More...

We used Agnew Architects for some advice regarding the interior design of our new home. The service provided was both creative and sensible, as we had a tight budget we needed some creative thinking within strict limits. We will use Agnew Architects again if we ever need an architect in the future More...
How can someone tell if their Garage is suitable for conversion?
Garage conversions can be straight-forward, but each situation is different. It's best to check with a professional who can review your specific situation and undertake a site visit. They will also be able to confirm whether your local council allow for permitted development or whether it will require a planning submission.
Run us through the different stages of the Garage conversion process - what's involved?
There are a number of stages so it's best to speak to a professional to clearly set out the process for you.
As a starting point, the Local Authority Building Control have a clear website with advice for homeowners covering garage conversions and other home improvements: https://www.labc.co.uk/homeowners
How can someone tell if their loft is suitable for conversion?
Each home is different and as such there is no rule. We recommend getting guidance from an experienced construction professional, as conversion will require a review of the local planning regulations and submission for building control approval.
The Home Building & Renovation magazine offers some clear guidance on their website: https://www.homebuilding.co.uk/loft-conversion-beginners-guide/
Run us through the different stages in the loft conversion process - what’s involved?
Firstly you need to check the loft has suitable space available to be converted. For example, a clear head height of minimum 2 metres is required. There also needs to be room on the lower level to introduce a staircase, this may reduce the size of an existing bedroom or bathroom, so this is worth checking with an Architect to make best use of the space.

What’s your interior design process?
As an architect, I want to help my clients achieve their dream outcome.
My job is to help guide you towards a design that is bespoke to your needs and tastes. We can offer experienced guidance on any interior design project, from concept design to installation.
Which interior design styles can you cater for?
We offer advice on all styles of design to help our clients realise their dream interior. We don't seek to impose our own taste, but aim to help guide your own vision.
What do you love most about your job?
I feel very fortunate to be in a position where my profession is not simply a job to me. From early stage sketching and engaging with clients to create their new home, to working with craftsmen and builders on mucky building sites - I enjoy the whole process in creating a piece of architecture.
(Apologies if I sound smug!)
What inspired you to start your own business?
Having gained several years experience working for a number of large scale, award winning studios, I decided to set up my own business. My ambition is use my design skills and construction experience to help like-minded clients at a more intimate scale.
From the simple replanning of living spaces, to designing a cosy rear extension to a terrace house - my job is to help improve how my clients live and enjoy their property or place of business.
Why should our clients choose you?
As a young architecture studio, we will go above and beyond for our clients with the aim of achieving their dream project. We have years of experience in building with strict budget requirements and extracting the best out of standard but beautiful materials. Simply put, we will provide better value for your money than other more established companies.
Furthermore, we are fully registered with the Architects Registration Board and the Royal Institute of British Architects where you can find and validate our credentials.
To help move your project forward, we are happy to offer an initial 'no obligation' design review to see what value we could add to your project. If we don't believe we are right for your project, we have a number of highly skilled colleagues we can recommend to you.
Look forward to speaking with you in due course.
Best wishes,
