Do you need a great accountant? Accountants keep the business legitimate in terms of legal reporting (PAYE, VAT, Corporation Tax returns, Confirmation Statements etc) Most accountants can do this. The real key is to have a finance team that can offer more - a great finance department can help the business grow by a) taking non-core time away from business owners, by keeping accurate books and records up to date and b) by allowing business owners the ability to make better decisions faster through excellent reporting.
