Preparation for 10+/11+/Common Entrance Exams.
Full training and specialist assistance is offered in Maths and Science ISEB exams (www.iseb.co.uk) as well as individual schools' exams to prepare boys and girls at Prep/ Primary School for the next stage of their education. In addition lessons are given in exam technique ,Verbal and Non Verbal Reasoning, and interview preparation as necessary.
You can be assured, however short the time you have to prepare for 11+, that every lesson will move you closer to your goal and thereby to a first class education. Places are limited - call today !
AS/A2/IB/ Preparation.
In the Year of Covid preparation for whatever exams are finally decided upon for 2021.
Then, more normally,
Preparation is available for Maths A/S and A level, (linear) Further Maths and University Entrance.
Multiple Tuition Courses are offered across the board including all aspects of Core (Pure) Maths, Statistics, Mechanics and 'Decision' Maths at the required level.
Preparation is undertaken for all exam boards.
IB assistance (Higher Level and Standard Level) is also offered together with General courses to prepare for A level exams (of all kinds)
STEP/AEA
STEP and Scholarship preparation is offered for Oxford and Cambridge, and other Red brick Universities. (This includes work at the previous 'S' level.)
AEA Maths (Edexcel) is also offered by the team to outstanding candidates who show great promise.
University Maths/ Bespoke Courses.
Mathematics at University forms an integral part of courses in all science disciplines and is often the backbone of many technical courses. Whilst some A level students manage to keep their 'heads above water' some fail because they cannot keep up with the mathematical content of their course. There appears to be a significant gap between A level and University Maths demands - made far worse by the devastating effects of Covid-19 - which this course addresses in depth. Whilst some students are at University they also need help to pass important mathematical courses they have encountered in lectures - this course is therefore bespoke and aimed at Undergraduates who are struggling to 'make the grade'.
Courses include (but are not limited to) :-
Laplace Transforms (Bromwich Integral, Cauchy Reimann, Bromwich Contour and Residue Theorem etc)
Fourier Series and Integrals.
Simultaneous Ordinary Differential Equations.
Complex Variable Theory.
Boundary Value Problems (available across Disciplines) .
