Had the guys swing around on a Saturday morning for what was meant to be a simple job, ended up being a messy rework and they guys everything to avoid cutting open the ceiling. After a few hours they sorted the problem out, installed new fixtures, no mess and all done with detailed explanation of what is happening. Adam came at 7pm as arranged and took out the ceiling light, he had to get another ladder though, but he couldn't change the bulb as needed a ceiling rose, so I will sort that out, wouldn't have known without his knowledge.
