I was diagnosed with unexplained secondary infertility (trying to conceive for 2 years) and low ovarian reserve (I was 41 years old). I was told by the fertility consultant, that our only option to have another child was through IVF and due to my low ovarian reserve, I would need to do ‘batching’. IVF together with ‘batching’ was not something I felt comfortable doing, so we opted to try super ovulation and IUI, which sadly failed. Straight after, we decided to take a break from fertility treatments and try Acupuncture & Chinese herbs for a more natural approach to conception. I found Angelo, while researching for an acupuncturist online and I am so glad we did! Angelo has a gentle and caring approach, in addition his knowledge around infertility made the journey a lot easier and less stressful and within two months we conceived our second baby naturally. My wife had been suffering with Urge Incontanance for a long time. Tried surgery and medication which didn’t help. It was becoming a serious nuisance for her. After several sessions she now isn’t worried about it. Says on a scale of 1-10, it’s reduced from a 7 down to a 2 and it’s sustained since she last saw him over the 6 months ago. Very happy! After four failed fertility treatments, I decided to pay a visit to Angelo. We underwent out fifth IVF treatment alongside acupuncture sessions with Angelo and we are currently expecting twins. Angelo was a blessing. Cannot recommend Angelo's services enough. He's a fantastic acupuncturist, consultant and in some parts counsellor (without you even realising this at the time). Angelo provided a realistic prognosis, a gentle approach (definitely needed when you have small pins inserted into your skin) but a considerably amount of understanding as well. Angelo helped me recover from a few things over the last couple of years (lingering pain from burst ovarian cysts and a post viral syndrome that I'd been suffering from for some time).
The acupuncture resolved all of my issues and gave me back my energy, and I also continued to have weekly sessions during my pregnancy. I also had a home visit after the birth to help with some issues (felt better almost immediately).
I'm amazed how effective acupuncture is, and Angelo is truly one of the best, so I would recommend him to everyone. He is extremely compassionate and caring, and the results from the acupuncture always speak for themselves. It's money very well spent, and I will return for more acupuncture sessions in the future, as and when the need arises.
