This was a fantastic clinic. Not only are all of the coaches welcoming, encouraging and fun but extremely professional and gave great technically appropriate advice. The doubles tactics were invaluable. The standard of the other participants was similar but well managed nonetheless. I can recommend Active Away to anyone wanting to hone their doubles’ performance. I attended the one day clinic at West Bridgeford on Saturday 16th November 2019. I was introducing friends to the whole active away experience having been on three holidays myself ! ! The whole day was fantastic and exceeded my expectations. We were put into groups of similar standard , and benefited from an A team of coaches , Josh , Steve , Jason and Charlie . The great thing was that they all rotated throughout the day and all had great tips and advice to give which has really helped my game. I also met some lovely people during the day . My friends all really enjoyed themselves too and are keen to look at holidays and future clinics. I would highly recommend the clinics to everyone, they are brilliant and focused and you really get so much out of it whatever standard you are. Just returned from an amazing day of tennis at West Bridgford David Lloyd. The coaches were first class, very professional yet really fun and everyone left the day feeling positive about their game. Both the demonstrations by the four coaches and the accompanying drills meant that the new tactical play and positional advice could become embedded to your memory. It was an absolute joy to play indoors on such an excellent surface and the groups were constantly changed so everyone could play with a variety of returners. The coaches made time to chat to everyone both at lunch and afterwards and also offered valuable tips on technique an individual basis. As a tennis improver I learnt so much during my week's tennis holiday with Active Away in Turkey. Great coaching by experts at a reasonable and appropriate pace enabled me to progress the development of my skills. We were greeted a the airport by the coaches and they were always on hand to assist in any matter. Matt and the team were splendid hosts and it was good to see George and Toby from David Lloyd, Exeter, so I will be able to enhance my skills further now we have returned home. There were a number of singles there and the charming coaches ensured a most inclusive environment hosting all our social activities in the evenings to ensure that no on each was left out.This was our second Active Away tennis holiday and we have already booked for Crete, next October. This was my first Activeaway holiday and it certainly won't be the last! Having not played tennis for 10 years due to various joint injuries I was somewhat nervous about the whole concept of playing with others. After 1 day of playing it all started to return - rusty for sure, but it all came flooding back and although probably one of the weaker players it didn't matter at all as everyone mixes in and your game gets stronger and stronger as the week progresses. I LOVED every minute of it. The hosts were fantastic - Josh, Chris and Jake. They are not only fabulous coaches, but fabulous hosts and individuals both on and off the court. The Ikos Aria hotel was out of this world with their service and attention to detail as well. It is a holiday not to be missed if you want great tennis coaching (regardless of your level), a good laugh and plenty of pampering in a first class hotel....not to mention the cocktails on the beach! Just returned from my 7th ActiveAway tennis holiday and enjoyed it as much as the first. The tennis coaching, provided by enthusiastic coaches, was first rate and is constantly being updated to reflect current coaching ideas. The Hotel provided the perfect venue in terms of accommodation, food, entertainment and all round facilities. We have just got back from a fantastic week away with Active Away.Active it is! With 2 hours of fun filled coaching in the morning with coaches of the highest standards - Then break for lunch and time to relax around the pool. We then had a 30 minute Master Class on various aspects of the game to help make you a better doubles player - with another 2 hours of social tennis where the coaches are on hand too help and guide you on what you can do better. The coaches don't stop there - the evening meal is booked, the entertainment is sorted. This was my first trip with Active Away. The venue was very nice (Sani Beach) the coaching was excellent we had a good number of hours spent learning new methods and techniques that I feel confident will improve my game and more importantly every moment was really good fun. The coaches didn’t stop making it fun for all even after or in-between the tennis. They made sure everyone knew where they would be eating and drinking what entertainment was where and you could join them or do your own thing they were always there to help. Having won my holiday on Facebook for two !! I cannot believe I have actually been to kalimera Crete . The hotel was lovely and the food was excellent ! what a fabulous holiday . I am a mad tennis player and couldn't believe how good and expierianced the coaches were what a treat ! Great fun and learnt a lot . Sean was a great host and extremely helpful along with the rest of the team . Nothing was to much trouble . loved meeting all the other guests and already there are plans afoot for a reunion in UK.
