I specialise in building strength, flexibility and endurance using a combination of high intensity workouts, band work and resistance training.

I also run a programme called Fit@50 which is designed specifically for the over 40s and helps build fitness while protecting joints and building resistance to injury.

Spencer is a really thorough, reliable personal fitness trainer. I find him lovely to work with, and he shows me how to do the exercises properly to avoid injury. Everything is bespoke and tailor made to my needs and I feel he really knows the science behind fitness and health. Spencer provides a very personalised approach focusing on exercises that are complimentary to the other sports I play. Although it is early days I am sure that with perseverance this will improve my flexibility and general well being enormously.....

Working with a PT like Spencer has been a rewarding experience. After an assessment of my current fitness and goals he drew up a program to address improving esp. mobility, core strength and re-balancing my body. The program was challenging but I never felt out of my depth and has evolved over time to concentrate on different aspects. Wasn’t sure what I was gonna get when signed up for a program: but could not be more impressed. Knowledgeable, flexible polite, inspirational, punctual are some of the adjectives to describe Spencer. I focus on helping clients build long term fitness through flexibility, strength and endurance. Although I train all ages my Fit@50 programme is specifically designed for those 40 plus.

Your focus should be on how you feel not how you look. If you can find exercise that is enjoyable and makes you feel good then the rest will follow. I help clients set realistic goals and build the connection between physical and mental health as well as advise on nutrition that will support ypur fitness goals.

Helping people improve their mental wellbeing through physical fitness. Having been through that journey myself and seeing the benefits I love being help to help people discover them for themselves.

My own battle with depression and low self esteem and how a focus on physical health improved my mental well-being as well as enabling me to do so much more physically

I focus on helping people build long term, sustainable fitness with a blend of short term goals and a focus on building the balance, flexibility and strength required for long term mobility and strength.

I can but prefer to work with people face to face. Some clients have a mix of online and face to face but online only doesn’t work so well as I cannot get a real sense of how their bodies are responding to exercises.
