Great communication. Our DJ turned up and started early. He played all our favorite tunes from our playlist and was happy to take requests. A good reliable DJ that is amazing value for money. We hired Ace for our dad's retirement party. A small affair that required a basic DJ set up to spin for a couple hours and provide a speaker for background music. We found Ace through Add to Event. They responded quickly after posting the event and were prompt in responding to queries. Working with Rob the booking process was quick, easy, professional, and seamless. At the price I was a little unsure of what we'd get on the night but took a punt based on other positive reviews. Do not regret it one bit. Jay was our DJ for the night. We asked for 730 arrival and Jay was there at 615 and promptly begun setting up when he did not need to be set up until 10 in the main dance floor area. We also needed them to set up a speaker and tv in a separate dinner area. We expected and had only asked him to plug the speaker in then we'd manage with our phone and presenting on the screens so we would not eat up time. However Jay was very accommodating in ensuring stuff was set up, taking us through the equipment, and being present during the presentation to ensure tech was working properly. And even brought extra cables an extra projector etc. Very helpful in going above and beyond what we had asked for. Coming to the actual set up and night he was great. The set up was more than I expected, a proper DJ set up with decent speakers, a wide array of decorative and disco lights, and professional looking mixing board etc. With a cheaper DJ I expected a basic set up from experience but this was pretty good kit. Jay was good as a host and played everything from classics and mainstream to Bollywood. He had a wide array of music and played perfectly to the crowd. All in all a good night. We were looking for a very cheap basic DJ for the night to just ensure we had music and they exceeded all expectations. I'd recommend them for such an event. The caveat is know what you're getting. These guys are good but don't hire them expecting Ibiza or club type DJs. Perfect for smaller events, unsure on larger things like weddings though haven't seen them in action at larger events so can't comment. They are a professional bunch that will get the job done with whatever you brief them to do. I would hire Ace again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a god friendly professional and reliable DJ. More...

We booked Ace for a big event we were having at The London Museum for 300 people. Robert, the man at Ace who took the booking on the phone could not have been more helpful. As the event organiser, I was a bit worried that the guests were from all four corners of the globe - what music would the DJ play? I needn't have worried because the DJ was happy to take requests for Brazilian music, Jamaican music, Indian music and Spanish music, as well as all the current chart hits; I don't know where he found everybody's music, but he did and it was really appreciated. He was very friendly and had us dancing all night. Gerry or Gary, I think (sorry I was on the champagne!!) He was already set up by the time we arrived and he was smart and polite. He played the music we wanted to hear and he had lovely flashing disco lights. Everyone was saying what a lovely time they had on Monday. Highly recommended. Garyx More...
