A very nice and welcoming place. Slightly hilly with picture book like views over the bay and over the course. Wide fairways minimise the risk of losing any golf balls despite several blind holes, and the course is overall very playable (miles easier than what the course description made me believe)! We visited the course for the first time and having booked a buggy (I’m definitely a walker otherwise) was handy because finding the red tees wasn’t always that easy and also gave some breaks from the wind . Great course, staff and members are always very welcoming. The course was tip top thou the greens needed a cut but I guess they couldn't due to the rain in previous 48 hours. They have a new chef and food was great. The views are to die for you can see the whole of Cardigan bay across to Snowden. I have held society event once a year for the last 10 and already booked 2019.Well worth a visit More...

Aberystwyth golf club offers a real challenge to any level of golfer and is simply a beautiful place to place golf. It's cliff top location makes it a challenging affair if there is a strong wind driving off the sea though! The views across Cardigan Bay and into North Wales are spectacular and at times the golf becomes secondary, particularly once you've got into the latter part of the front nine and early part of the back nine. There are some creative holes designs, such as the tricky 14th with its table top "mound" Green and the stunning 4th with its elevated tee down into the valley that leads to the quaint bridge over to the difficult sloping green. The par 5 tenth hole is a real test of nerves. The 17th is a real gem and my personal favourite as on a clear day it offers breathtaking views of Aberystwyth town centre and all of the Southern aspect of Cardigan Bay. To put it simply, it's a must for any golfer. You won't be disappointed and as long as you're not holding anyone up, take your camera and take a moment to capture the views. More...

Recently got married, and had our wedding reception here. Had an amazing day from start to finish. The venue is a good size, there are lovely views, food was excellent, and staff were helpful and accommodating. There is also plenty of off road parking. We couldn’t have asked for better. First time visiting after a recommendation, it was a great challenge, the greens in great condition, very friendly staff and members too.

The scenery and location made the day that much better with the addition of the good weather.
