Who We Are

Abbey Locks was founded in 1995 by Director and Master Locksmith Mark Grainger; the team has gradually grown over the years, allowing us to extend our services throughout London, Hertfordshire, the Home Counties and as far up as Huntingdon as well as expand the list of services we provide.

We have a team of highly skilled Locksmiths and Security Engineers, all of whom have years of experience in the industry. Whether you are locked out of your property, require a change of locks, or would like to install a security system, our team of specialists are on hand to help. Our customers can rest assured that all of our Locksmiths, Engineers and Support Staff are DBS vetted; we are also fully approved by the Master Locksmiths Association, the UK’s largest Trade Association for Locksmiths.

Services

In addition to our Locksmith Services, we also offer Ring Doorbell Installation as well as the installation and maintenance of Intruder Alarm Systems and CCTV Systems. Our team of specialists will be able to help with all aspects of Domestic and Commercial Security.

What To Expect

When you contact Abbey Locks, you will go through to one of three people – Debbie, Jamie or Mark – who will ask a few questions to try and get an understanding of your requirements. We may ask you to send some images of your locks or arrange a free site visit, both of which will help us better understand your requirements, allowing us to quote more accurately. It will also give us an idea of lead time and how long the work will likely take. Our Locksmiths carry a large quantity of stock, but if you require a specialist lock that needs to be ordered in, it may take a day or two.

Our Pricing Structure

We understand the importance of a clear and transparent pricing structure. We do not charge a call-out fee, nor do we apply hourly charges; we charge a set labour fee plus the cost of any parts that may be required.

Please also rest assured that if you are experiencing issues with your locks or mechanism, our first course of action will always be to attempt a repair (unless otherwise instructed). If any parts are beyond repair and need to be replaced, we will discuss this with you before proceeding and outline the cost implications.
