Dyslexic and with little self-esteem at school, I had always been very creative and had always wanted to be an Interior Designer from as far back as I can remember.

In 1993, I landed a place at Leeds University studying Interior Architecture for 3 years.
Out of the 30 strong degree students, only two went on to become Interior Designers.
I started my design career working in the hospitality sector designing for well-known pub chains, then in September 2000 at just 23, I landed my dream job in Dubai designing 5-star hotels. I decided to take the leap of faith and packed my bags.

During all this, I was suffering an abusive and failing marriage. I finally took the decision at the beginning of 2015 to leave. I arrived back in the UK as a solo parent of two young boys and three suitcases to my name.
Life was tough, but so was I.

The three of us settled in Preston and slowly rebuilt our lives. Through grit and determination, I was lucky enough to find an amazing opportunity working for a leading property developer in Manchester designing their expanding portfolio of properties. This involved me working alongside the lettings and sales team styling the Apartments for rental and sale. This is where my love of property staging had emerged.

Some days I would dress an apartment in the morning, and it would be rented the very same afternoon. A eureka moment arrived when I realised there was a huge niche in the market for companies offering this service. The next day, A+A Property Stagers was born.

After my extremely difficult few years suffering domestic violence, (Through the adversity I suffered) I decided that my ultimate mission in life was to help others gain financial freedom and independence by pulling on my interior design background and helping sell their properties which had been on the market for months through staging properties.

I am now on a mission is to help Property Developers, Estate Agents & homeowners gain financial freedom and maximise profit on all their property deals.

Many of the properties we stage sell for 10% more than their original valuation with competing offers.
