I would certainly recommend Paul York and his removal company.I obtained 3 quotes to move house. I chose Paul because:* he was thorough in determining how much 'stuff' I had (the others just walked from room to room, didn't open any cupboards. .)* he has a logical mind in storing the items on the lorry (= less chance of breakages). I bet he's good at Tetrus!* He and his team were really careful in respecting door jambs/walls etc.* His price was good. We employed York to move a large amount of luggage from Cardiff for a member of the Royal family of Thailand. It was essential that it ran smoothly and that the luggage and boxes did not go astray. It was also very more important that the luggage was delivered between two hotels over 200 miles apart within the times agreed. We asked York to be at the Cardiff hotel for 1pm and he was there at 12.30pm. We asked that the luggage be in the receiving hotel prior to the Royal party arriving at 7pm, and that was also achieved. This took place on a Monday and afternoon morning when the traffic is generally busier than most other days. We remain eternally grateful that the times were adhered to, the luggage and valuables arrived safely and that the driver was most courteous and discreet. More...

Paul and John moved my Mother a couple of years ago, and when she decided to move again we did not hesitate in picking up the phone to Paul. At 83, moving , especially moving from Llandudno back to Cheshire, it is a stressful time, but " the two Amigos " take all that worry away. From the time you contact them to the end of the job, they present a friendly can do attitude that takes the worry away and gives you confidence. We recently used A York removals to move us from a top floor apartment to our new house by the sea. Paul initially visited the apartment to assess what was required and subsequently quoted us a very reasonable price for carrying out the move. The guys were presented with a challenge, as it was a duplex apartment with a spiral staircase and due to this, several pieces of furniture had to be dismantled. On the day of the move, Paul and his colleague worked tirelessly and were extremely careful and considerate with our belongings, so that everything arrived at the new property in perfect condition. At the new property, they placed furniture wherever we wished and made an excellent job of re-assembling the items that had been taken apart. The guys were very friendly and cheerful throughout the whole experience and provided a very efficient and professional service. I have moved across the country about 8 times in last 11 years in UK. I found York removals team the best so far. You were very professionals, took your time to make sure things are loaded safely I was bit apprehensive before move due to being moving in brand a new house, thinking about marks on brand new carpet and doors paint during move. But you were so careful in moving things including heavy sofas and did not leave any marks on doors or carpets. The quote was cheapest than other companies, including dismantling and assembly of beds.So in summary, best quote, flexible with date and time and best team to move the house.
