Kerry was both our engagement and wedding photographer and I’d happily recommend her to anyone that is looking for engagement/wedding photos. Kerry has a great natural style and uses a more documentary style approach to her photography and the photos we have received are a fantastic record of the day. She managed to capture the vibe of the day perfectly and we have a large collection of gorgeous, creative and relaxed photos which we can’t thank her enough for!She was fantastic to work with and great at communicating via email and skype. We gave her an idea of our wedding plans and the kind of photos we were looking for and she ran with it! It can be really difficult to share a vision for your wedding but Kerry understood instantly. She’s incredibly professional but very approachable and friendly at the same time. From beginning to end, Kerry (A Tall Long Legged Bird) has been amazing. From the very first meeting we knew instantly that she was the right photographer for us as she was so friendly but also very professional. We instantly felt at ease with her so just knew it was going to be a breeze on the big day. Her 'chic-documentary' style of shooting perfectly documented our special day as she captured all of the intimate and special moments, most of the time without people even realising! I can't recommend Kerry enough. She was very focused on making sure that she knew what we wanted - having an initial Skype call with us before we booked, plus doing a venue visit with us before the day. We would whole heartedly recommend Kerry as a wedding photographer. We met Kerry a number of times before the wedding to run through the arrangements for the day and to meet our family. She was very keen to understand what we wanted and who were the important people. She was really relaxed and professional with an easy style. On the day even the vicar said how pleased he was with Kerry being the photographer as he said that she was never intrusive. She took loads of photos. Kerry is a really nice affable person. As a photographer Kerry has an amazing eye for capturing nice fun honest photos that provide a really special record of our day. None of our photos felt staged yet we have all the group photos and so many informal reportage photograph which really define Kerry. Most websites we looked at from other photographers seemed to focus on cutlery, staircases and gardens whereas Kerry’s mainly featured people enjoying the day. Kerry has an amazing technical ability to take photos that are crisp in focus on the subject but the foreground and background are out of focus. Kerry produced a slide show set to music, which moved us both to tears the first time we saw it and it continues to delight us so many times later, which just completely captured the spirit of the day for us. Kerry is the ultimate wedding photographer. She is imaginative, relaxed and hilarious, making us feel totally relaxed both on the day and in the preceding weeks. Her attention to detail is outstanding and the photos she captured of us, our venue and loved ones are fantastic. She is incredibly creative with the camera and without (when the hanger for my dress broke she quickly fashioned a hanger from the curtain ties, mounted a chair, fastened the dress to the curtain tops and took some beautiful shots of it against the backdrop of the garden). If you didn’t already know, the best tool in marketing is word of mouth! Sadly Helen and I didn’t discover Kerry on our own. ..she was already bossing the wedding scene with her phenomenal photography skills! That said, it didn’t stop us from making sure she was the first box ticked on the wedding prep list.

Kerry is an incredible photographer and a lovely person. She was with us every step of the way from the time we asked her to take our photos to the time the photos were ready. We enjoyed an engagement shoot to get us used to the lens and she even came to visit our venue to familiarise herself with it. We chose Kerry as we felt at ease from the moment we met her. Her witty humour I knew would make us feel relaxed. On the day, Kerry did not disappoint! She arrived early, stayed late and just blended in so that we didn’t even know that she was there. Kerry is the photographer of dreams! Not only does she have exceptional skill and an eye for gorgeous backdrops and lighting, she's got the funnest personality and a cracking sense of humour! What good is a pretty picture if you don't feel and look relaxed and like you're having a good time?!
