My name is Mark Newman, born in Hertfordshire and now residing in Ruislip, West London. Living in Ruislip gives me the opportunity to cover London, the Home Counties and the South of England. I also travel nationally if required.
I am a fully qualified Independent Civil Celebrant having trained and becoming a member of the ‘Fellowship of Professional Celebrants'.

What do you love most about your job?
I get a real buzz out of seeing couples and family enjoying themselves. Creating the perfect day is the 'cherry on the cake' for me. I get goose bumps when couples stand in front of me pledging their vows to each other.
What inspired you to start your own business?
It had nothing to do with weddings. My father passed away some years ago and we used a celebrant. It was a beautiful ceremony and I just thought that was what I wanted to do, become a story teller. I haven't looked back since. Weddings, Vow renewals and Baby naming ceremonies are the fun part of my job.

I will create a unique day that they want with advice from myself. It's your day, your way.

Pre wedding meetings can be online by zoom. This is to get to know the couple and gather information on their journey leading up to the big day.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
During Covid was a very difficult time what with very small numbers at the ceremony, social distancing and the wearing of masks. Although restrictions have been lifted, I will always abide by the couples wishes.

Naming Ceremonies
There are many situations when a new child comes into a family, be it a new birth, an adoption or fostering. A naming ceremony is a special day to welcome a precious child into a family. The parents stating their love and commitment to the child and their dreams and aspirations for their future.
Choosing god parents or guide parents is another memorable part of the ceremony. Everything is tailored to your requirments for a special day with my help.
Funerals
With the passing of a loved one or friend times are very emotional and stressful. It's at this point that you need someone to share your grief but also to be there to guide and support you through these tough times. This is where I come in.
My purpose is to relive some of that person’s life through stories from family and friends so that you can all remember how they touched your lives in special ways.
