Great food. Lady there is no nonsense - you wait for her to acknowledge you, make your order, get it and get out. Openings hours are limited, and sometimes not open even during their limited opening hours so you really never know.

Best bun bo hue in London honestly. It's run and cooked by one lovely Viet lady probably in her 60s so you're legit going to get genuinely and carefully homemade style Vietnamese food. However, because it's just bà ba running the shop by herself, it may not be open as advertised and/or she may take awhile to get to your order. Be bless and if you know Vietnamese, talk to her, it lets her relieve some stress a bit. :) Just know you're going here for the food by any means necessary and not because you're expecting your food done in 2 mins. Trust me. You won’t find any others places like this in London. The lady is the only person who runs the whole restaurant. Therefore, if she’s busy she will say to her customer “but I am very busy you know.” *Cash only* *No delivery* Come get it yourself if you want to eat. The shop has foldable seats where you can choose to eat in. The lady said there were no bowls so it was served in a takeaway container which was fine. The broth was tasty where you can taste the shrimp paste and lemon grass. There is a sweetness to the broth which I enjoyed. I would like to try the non spicy version next time and would visit again. Food is absolutely amazing (love the broth!), but it's mainly for take aways, there's very little space to sit. There is only one person working doing everything, so it often takes a while to get your order done (last time I was waiting for about half an hour). I’m never sure if this place is going to be open or closed. The lady who runs it, occasionally closes early if business is slow, and there’s something about that which I find rather entertaining! It’s like playing a game of roulette! The aunty behind the counter reminds me of an asian mum prepping and cooking up a storm, getting ready to feed whoever shows up at the shop. The food was great, better than what I was expecting. It may not have some herbs in the Bún bò Huế that normally come with the dish or any fancy presentation but the flavour was spot on.
