Hi there my name is Tamzin and welcome to the 23rd Room.
I've always been into design from a young age, I studied Fashion Design and Marketing at university. But it was when I got my own home, that my love of interiors developed. I really wanted to create a space where me and my family can feel happy and comfortable and I wanted my space to reflect my personal style.

What’s your interior design process?
Hi there! I usually like to start off with a conference call with the client to fully understand their needs. We go through what styles they like, an inspirational images that they have. What the function of the room will be, and existing furniture, or anything that needs to stay in place. And then finally the budget for the project.
I also require a £50 consultancy fee, which will be taken off the final cost of the services once we have agreed the price.
Dependant on the level of service that you require from me, and whether the service will be provided remotely ie just a E- design, or whether you require a in person design process the prices will vary.
I will produce a mood/inspiration board, floor plan, and a 3D visualisation of the space. I will also provide a document with a shop-able list of all the products with pricing to ensure that we stay in budget.
Which interior design styles can you cater for?
I can cater for any style. I am very adaptable, and my most important focus is that my clients feels happy, and loves the new space that they are in.
What do you love most about your job?
I love helping people achieve the goals for the home. I truly believe that the home is a sanctuary, that's how I feel about my home. I also feel like your home is an extension of your personality and style, and some people just need a bit of help when it comes to pulling all the ideas together.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I was inspired to start my own business, as I was being to feel frustrated in my job. I have always been creative, I studied fashion design and marketing at uni, and I have stayed in the fashion sector, but more on the business side. I decided that I wanted to tap into my creative side again, which was reinforced with I moved into my new flat.
