I decided to start training with a PT as I suffer from knee pain and felt I was not able progress by myself. For almost 2 years I tried multiple things but I always had to stop my training due to my knees. I've been training with Hugh for the last 4 months and I feel I'm so much stronger and that I've made progress that I did for 2 years in 4 months. My priority is to lose weight and develop my leg muscles to make it easier on my knees. Hugh was recommended to me and I can honestly say I have not been disappointed. I noticed a change in my body and how I feel in a matter of weeks and that is down to Hugh providing excellent nutrition advice and good structured training sessions. Hugh is very direct in his approach and will push you out of your comfort zone in order for you to reach your goal but Hugh is also very supportive in listening to you and what your body needs. Hugh is a very experienced Personal Trainer tailoring training towards ability and desired results. He offers a variety of training from weights sessions- building routines that you can use at home to outdoor sessions- using a variety of walking/running, weights, resistance and medicine balls drills and games making for a fun session with great output without you realising how hard you have worked. Hugh is very personable with a sense of humour that matched mine so we got on brilliantly. He listens to you and your body without over pushing but still taking you out of your comfort zone to strive for results. I have been training with Hugh for about 3 months now and it has been a great experience. I decided to go for personal training being quite unhealthy after staying at home for the past year and my YouTube workouts leaving me with significant knee pain (most likely due to incorrect posture). This pain completely disappeared after I started training with Hugh. Hugh pushes you to go beyond your comfort zone while ensuring you still remain safe and listens to your specific concerns. He also pays special attention to keeping the sessions interesting with different types of workouts. I feel much stronger and my stamina has improved notably. Hugh was my trainer for 6 months in 2018 - he was an excellent motivator and support as I built a base for overall fitness / body composition work. The workout plans were varied and interesting & I made major improvements during my time with Hugh. Hugh managed to get me of all people into fitness! I went to see him completely inexperienced and he was patient, kind, and tough when needed. We did a full fitness check and review and then worked from there. When lockdown happened he went out of his way to make online classes and sessions engaging, and they remained the same quality. Hugh admirably put my health first when I sadly had to stop due to a health issue, but he has changed the way I see exercise and I continue to take onboard his advice all the time. I started training with Hugh at a time where I was unfit, unhealthy, and in need of some urgent help to achieve my fitness goals. Before embarking on anything too strenuous, Hugh assessed my level of fitness, and ability to carry out exercises by using the correct techniques. After correcting my techniques, he stepped up the intensity of training sessions on a weekly basis, allowing me to lose weight and achieve the body shape I wanted. The sessions were extremely varied, keeping me engaged and challenging my body, and the training was accompanied by excellent nutrition advice (including a food diary to help me keep on track). Hugh from 121 Fitness thoroughly analysed my fitness and set up a package of training and nutrition that worked for me. The results quickly came through and above all I felt so much healthier both physically and mentally. I took Hugh on as my personal trainer over 8 years ago when I seriously needed help with fitness, my weight and health. Hugh devised personalised programmes to deal with these issues and over a period of time and patience we sorted them out. No two training sessions ever seem to be the same and this keeps the training fresh as you never really know what to expect. It's always hard work, but never dull. I've been working with Hugh for a few years now and he's been great in helping me on my fitness journey. He also helped identify a medical issue with my heart rate due to his insistence on wearing a heart rate monitor. He's a great motivator, says it how it is and is very willing to help. He has even travelled to where I live to get sessions in and even though I have moved out of London recently we have started Zoom fitness sessions. I've trained with Hugh for nearly two years now and can't speak highly enough of him as a PT! Since lockdown I've been having weekly virtual training sessions and they have been invaluable to me to keep myself motivated and maintaining structure during these weird times. Hi I have been training with Hugh Brown since early 2018, which began in serviced offices in London. This has continued uninterrupted during this difficult period we find ourselves in. During lockdown Hugh's PT sessions, initially group sessions followed by individual 1:1 sessions over ZOOM, have been incredibly useful. Hugh is a very professional, disciplined yet flexible trainer. His training style and quality of programs are outstanding. He tailors programs to suit individuals and keeps a balanced mix of sessions targeting the important aspects of training. His monthly Health Checks and quarterly Fitness Assessments add value to the service. I trained with Hugh for over 8 years. Hugh is very professional, knowledgeable and honest. He works closely with you to understand your needs, tailor a programme to meet them and gives great guidance to keep you improving and focussed on your targets - in my case, athletics to a high level. After I broke my leg in 2014, Hugh developed a rehab programme for me in conjunction with advice from my physio, which has enabled me to make great strides in getting back to prior fitness and performance levels. I've been training with Hugh for over 4 years now and I have achieved all of my goals and more. I've lost over 2 stones and my blood pressure has reduced to normal levels after being on medication for high blood pressure for a number of years. I have been training with Hugh now for over 3 and half years now and have achieved incredible results. I lost around 20kg relatively quickly and have since maintained those losses whilst at the same time getting fitter and stronger. I have trained with Hugh for over five years now and in that time Hugh has helped me to define what it is that I really want to get out of personal training and then helped every step of the way in achieving and then refining those goals. As well as knowing all about the physical side of things (he really is very good at that), Hugh is also good on the mental side – even when you think you can’t achieve a certain goal Hugh will work with you and teach you that you can actually do it. And you will (I remember particularly the first timed 3km row that I did).It’s not just about the session in the gym with Hugh but he will give continuing support. I do remote training with clients that are willing to do the occasional physical training session for Health Check, Fitness Assessment and exercise technique correction purposes where necessary. This is for two main reasons:

1. I need to know that you are fit to train so a regular Health Check session is important.

2. It's difficult to correct certain exercises or do an injury assessment through a screen.
