Absolutely amazing. We had Ian and Jo photograph our wedding through their storybook wedding service in 2006. I have never met a photography couple more professional, enthusiastic, or talented. Our photo's were fantastic, unique, and presented in a stunning album and CD ROM. Their presence at our wedding was discreet yet they still managed to capture the essence of the day. We choose Ian and Jo to do our wedding photography almost two years ago now. We knew that they were not the cheapest service available but the website and reviews convinced us to go along for a consultation. Ian listened carefully to our wish list, we looked through previous albums and were reassurred that this was the right choice for us. We also had a fun photo session a couple of weeks<span id="moreReview40740" class="hide"> before the wedding in our ordinary clothes - great memories for the time building up to our wedding.<br /> <br />On the morning of the wedding, Ian followed the boys at the local pub and Jo came over to follow the myself and the bridesmaids at my mum's house. Throughout the day, the photography was thoughtful and unobtrusive and many of the guests commented on Ian's friendly manner. For much of the time, we didn't even notice we were being photographed.<br /><br />The albums arrived about 4 weeks after the wedding, they were amazing....every detail had been captured, and all the right bits enhanced!! Everyone we showed the albums to was impressed and said they are the best they have ever seen, they were a real talking point after the wedding. The venue where we got married even shows them to their potential wedding parties! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Ian's services to anyone, wedding or otherwise.</span> More...

We used Ian Pickering Photography for our wedding in July 2005 and can summarise their work in 3 words - Wow, Wow, Wow! <br /><br />Everybody who has seen our album has said that it is without doubt the best wedding album that they have ever seen. Eight friends of ours have gone on to book Ian for their own weddings and many more have said they will do so when they get round to getting<span id="moreReview40746" class="hide"> married!<br /><br />Initially their prices may seem a little expensive, but in terms of value for money they are superb. We have more than 250 photos in our album - this would have cost a huge amount more with the other agencies who typically give you 30 photos and then charge extra for each additional photo. Instead, we have a beautiful album that perfectly tells the story of the day and captures every bit of emotion. All of these are spectacularly presented in a luxury album, with real care and attention to the layout.<br /><br />Despite taking hundreds of photos, Ian and Jo were almost invisible on the day, seamlessly blending into the background. When they had to take charge for the group shots and 'formal' photographs they did so with great friendliness and humour and made everyone feel at ease. It's always nice seeing them at our friends' weddings and they are always their same friendly selves.<br /><br />Some of the shots really need to be seen to be believed - there was none of the standing in the same spot for an hour with various combinations of family! Instead there were imaginative shots using flowers, the buildings, confetti, beer bottles (of which there were plenty!) and lots more, all of which were memories from the day. Ian was perfectly happy to slither around on the floor in order to get the right shot! <br /><br />When we got the actual album the photos were amazing - some in colour, some in black and white, some with a bit of both, some full page, some with 8 or 9 photos telling a mini-story on a page.
