We have four ancient Horse Chestnut trees in our garden but unfortunately the people who owned the property before us had them lopped by local so called tree surgeons. This caused significant damage to them and they were in a very poor state when we moved to the property. We had taken advice from another company of tree surgeons who said the trees should be felled but my son in North Devon who had previously contracted Chris suggested that I should take his advice before making any decision. Chris without hesitation travelled the 200 miles to view our trees and explained how the previous poor workmanship had led to the trees poor health. Chris also described in detail how he could make all efforts to eradicate decay and promote healthy growth.Chris and his team were contracted to do the work needed as well as other tree work in our garden and his price, despite having to stay in nearby accommodation, was close to that of having them felled. Chris is clearly passionate about his trade and a conservationist and now our Horse Chestnut trees have had a new lease of life thanks to him and his crew. More...

We had a multi stemmed Sycamore and a willow tree that was towering over both my patio and my neighbours garden and flower beds. We had been recommended to Chris Wills Tree Services by a friend that used their services before. Chris responded quickly to our inquiry and despite the professional approach and his clear and open pricing structure we were sceptical about how low his quotation was compared to another quote we had, however based on the fact he came recommend we decided to go ahead. As described in his quotation the trees were climbed and dismantled in just a few hours without any disruption to our patio or my neighbours flower beds, and thanks to all three of his staff, both mine and my neighbour’s gardens were left spotless without a trace of debris anywhere. Chris's team were remarkably efficient, friendly and clearly passionate about their work.
