What’s your signature dish?
steak and ale pie is the most popular with colcannon mash and rich gravy made with the steak juices and theakstons ale our fresh baked cream scones are also popular we do different curries and chilli and cracking sticky toffee pudding with homemade butterscotch sauce and vanilla ice cream we also do some funky salads with fresh baked quiche poached salmon is light and perfect served with warm hollandaise sauce and buttered new potatoes flecked with chives and a crisp green salad
How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
I am customer led they tell me what they want and we work together to find out if its achievable in their chosen venue with sometimes little or no kitchen and then we can adjust the menu to suit but still getting as close as possible to the chosen menu
What do you love most about your job?
the variety and diversity of the jobs every phone call is a mystery all including the most delicious food whats not to love
What inspired you to start your own business?
I used to cook with my Nana and my Mum its always been a thing I have loved doing when I was on maternity leave I made all my own baby food which I loved I did elements of cooking at collage its just a thing that comes naturally to me
