We had a great time, enjoying the big garden round the back and the massive dorm style room. We were able to stick lots of food in the fridge and oven and stack up the bar too. The bathrooms were perfect and sufficient for 21 girls. Only downside was the projector didn’t seem to want to work with my laptop which was a shame. Overall a fantastic time in a lovely setting; would highly recommend for large groups who want to get out of the city!! More...

We've just come back from a weekend hosting a private party at Outfields Farm, including staying in the on-site accommodation. All of the cottages on-site were delightful with all our needs catered for. Julia and Graham were fantastic hosts and we were made to feel very welcome. I recently had the pleasure of staying at Outfields four times over the space of a month, and I can not sing their praises highly enough.
Julia and Graham are the most welcoming and hospitable hosts that I have ever stayed with! They go out of their way to make you feel welcome and comfortable, even going so far as to remove a stray spider late one evening. As a young woman travelling alone I had no concerns over safety and security, the area is well lit on an evening and Julia and Graham are both on hand if you ever need anything, it is impossible to not feel right at home.
The location is gorgeous! You feel very rural and it is incredibly peaceful and tranquil, but you are just 5 minutes from all the amenities, you could ever need, and just 10-15 minutes in to Bedford town centre. I travelled every day in to Bedford for work and can testify how excellently located it is.
I stayed in the Pond View and it is a gorgeous room! It is filled with all of the essentials, matched with super comfortable beds and a sparkling bathroom. The room is homely, and very nicely decorated, there is plenty of space, and nothing to complain of at all! I also loved that the room came with a little seating area by the pond, and the super cute solar lights mean you could sit outside enjoying the tranquillity for many hours!
If you are considering this property I would say go ahead! You will not regret it! If I am ever in the area again, for business or pleasure, I know it will be my first choice!
