David is so helpful and takes time to talk to you and answer questions. Any queries he was willing to help and explain things. The men that fitted the solar panels were very polite, hard working and very tidy. Delighted with the solar panels and despite not having the batteries installed yet, our electric now is approximately 56p-£1.09 per day vast improvement from £6.00 a day. We never knew this place existed! Just by chance we saw the T.E.S.S While talking to David he explained everything in English and told us how beneficial a battery storage unit can be along with a hybrid inverter. So we took the plunge and wow what a difference its made to our usage of the electricity from the grid. On the first day we only used 1KWH of electricity, everything else came from the solar panels and stored in the batteries. The service was second to non and the fitting guys explained all the details so as we were able to understand everything of what was going on and how it was working. We heard about the Energy Saving Store in Dingwall.So we visited the shop had a chat with David there what an amazing shop. We have just been installed and have been in Awe that we are not buying much electricity at all now. I have cooked on electricity and made jam, we have done about 7 loads of washing, heated all domestic water etc etc and used 37 pence of electricity We watched our electric meter yesterday and it hardly moved. David came out to do our EPC I was very apprehensive about what it was all about as never had to do anything like this before, he was friendly and reassuring, I felt completely at ease with him straight away. He explained what he was doing and pointed out where improvements could be done but never with a pushy sales vibe. We have seen several posts about solar systems with battery storage systems by a shop in Dingwall The Energy Saving Store at 4 High Street Dingwall. We decided to pop in and have a we chat with David , well that was interesting no mucking about for a price. He came to our home the next day, we asked when can it be installed he said next week. Well to our total happiness for such a fast install as agreed it was all completed yesterday and we are so happy to have a local company looking after us, what a rapid service and the installers were spot on in every way very courteous. David came to our rescue after we realised our Energy Performance Certificate had expired (which was required to conclude the sale of our property, due to happen 3 days later, in the week before Christmas! ). I wanted to leave a review for the excellent service I received from the Energy Saving Store and in particular, the help and support David gave. I moved into a new build that had a very expensive 12kw boiler which was expensive and inefficient to run. I contacted the Energy Saving Store for support and David was very helpful and understood my situation and suggested changing to heat source. Within months, the system was installed and I was astonished to see monthly bills drop by more than half. The best thing is it actually feels hot and I have to open a window now whereas before I would have never contemplated that ever. Really really disapointed Had a visit organised from the energy saving company in dingwall to talk about solar panels batteries ect. After seeing the great reviews about the Energy Saving Store on Facebook I thought I would pop in. To say they have everything is an understatement from lighting to wool insulation to heating and solar kits. I have now been in three times now and last Wednesday pushed the button to proceed with my solar panels and storage batteries. installation. David conducted a site visit on the Thursday and by the Sunday a team of installers arrived to install. The team from William Owens Electrical were quick, efficient and tidy. Thanks guys. I am over the moon about the service I received and the speed at which everything was done. After hearing about the Energy Saving Store at 4 High Street Dingwall opposite Harry Gows shop. We decided to pop our head in for a wee look well what a great shop. Theres everything in there to help you Decimate those running costs. We had an installation from a solar company a few years ago now no longer trading. David from the shop popped out to have a look at the site he wasnt overly impressed and it wasnt really doing much in production. David told us about an upgrade to solar edge and we pondered about spending more money on it. Well what can I say Davids Contractors have made this system fly this time we are so happy and the water heater switch was activated to send any spare electricity into the water tank. We also got some superb ceiling lights by Mark Lighting from Davids shop what great products and service and my 2 superb 6 foot strip lights for my garage. We were new landlords looking to rent out a property. We had not realised that the property needed to be a min energy rating to do be let. David came and advised us what we needed to do to bring it up to the level expected by Scottish government. The most important thing was that he helped us understand the funding that is out there for renewable heat options. The bureaucracy around this is horrendous and David helped to steer us through that and put us in touch with great suppliers who could install the green energy technology.
