We hired suburban sounds dj for our wedding reception on 2nd June 2018. .....fantastic night was had by all. Can not recommend this dj highly enough. James played our exact mixes all night ....as we are in our forties we had 80 and 90's music with some Irish music thrown in. Everyone commented on how great the music was and it definitely made our wedding reception very special.Thank you james More...

James from Suburban Sounds delivered a great evening's worth of music for our wedding celebrations this weekend. He was very happy to accommodate all of my specific music request, in fact he managed to acquire the entire playlist that I had suggested to him which resulted in a fabulous evening for everyone. He listened to all of my requests regarding the volume of music whilst people were eating ensuring it was not intrusive on their conversation. He was on time, set up very quickly and managed the whole evening in a professional way. The lighting was just right for the event that we had and I would not hesitate to recommend Suburban Sounds for any event, especially as they are willing to tailor playlists to individual needs. We booked James for our wedding and we couldn't have been happier. He was there and set up before we arrived he was friendly and easy to talk too and played any song we wanted. We booked Suburban Sounds for my wife's 40th birthday party (upstairs at the Station Pub, in Sutton Coldfield). We had the "Platinum Package", which looked great in that room. I honestly can't recommend them enough!Having had big problems with the DJ at our wedding (DJ sent his friend, no idea of playlists or what was on his CDs, speakers breaking and one of the guests having to fix them etc!), I was a little concerned about booking DJs and wanted to book somebody more professional, with a website etc.James from Suburban Sounds was brilliant from the start. He asked us what type of music we would like and sent over a sheet for us to add preferred songs for the playlist.He contacted me beforehand to confirm the booking. He was smart, punctual and friendly and had everything set up well before time.The quality of the package was great and James had every track which was asked of him by guests. I just say wanna say a massive Thank You to James for doing a outstanding job at my sons 18th Birthday. I was a bit worried about booking a DJ for my sons 18th as everyone knows what kids listen to theses days but he managed to pull it off, he played all the up to date songs and had all the kids dancing. . he played a wide range of music so even got the old ones up through the night. What a brilliant night thanks to Jimmy. The music was absolutely incredible, the set up was on point and a true gent behind the decks. There was a mixed bunch but the atmosphere and music made it a magical fun time for all. James accommodated both a presentation and after dinner speaker.
