I can thoroughly recommend Snoots Dog Training. A few months ago, I was desperately searching for someone professional, understanding, and patient to help me with my beagle (Bruno) with his reactiveness.
I was getting very worried that he would never change, and things were just going to get
worse. I started writing messages to a bunch of trainers in my area. One of them was Snoots Dog Training. Within a few hours, Matt (the trainer) got back to me and scheduled a consultation meeting to discuss my dog’s issues and needs. From then we worked on his neutrality and honestly, we have only had a couple of sessions and Bruno is doing so much better. I really applaud Matt for his work and patience. Matt is absolutely fabulous. Completely changed my relationship with my dog. Originally he was pulling on the leash and needy. However, after 1 session with Matt, I am leading the walks and my dog is walking confidently beside me, and building independence via crate training. My hunting dog is super alert outdoors and would pull on the lead or try to take off at every pigeon, squirrel, etc. It was exhausting.
I'd been to several other trainers whose techniques made no difference. After the first session with Matt, we worked on what he told us and now walks are a pleasure not a constant battle. Just had our second session and it's almost like magic. She responds immediately to the changes he puts into practice.
Matt is organised, diligent, responsive, communicates well and what we've done in a short period of time has been super effective. Looking forward to working with him to get an all - around, well-trained, happy dog and it's going quicker than I expected.

What do you love most about your job?
That's easy: seeing a huge change in dog behaviour and owner confidence!
Often an owner will only seek my help when they are at their wits end. It's really satisfying to have them see a huge change in their puppy or dog's behaviour and a rapid increase in their own confidence and ability to manage their dog, and ultimately, be able to live a more harmonious life with their pooch.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I was more or less bullied into it! A number of people saw me out and about, on the tube, a train, a bus, in the street or a park with my own pooch and would comment on his good behaviour. These same people started asking for my help with teaching commands and behavioural issues (such as lead pulling and recall). These same bullies then started referring me to their friends. Thus came Snoots Dog Training. I now provide dog training to people predominately across West, North-West and North London.
The majority of my clients still come through word of mouth and positive referrals.
Why should our clients choose you?
For two reasons:
1. I'll be the last trainer you'll ever need - I teach you how to teach your dog!
2. There are no huge upfront costs. The dog training world is beset with conners. I ask a small deposit so that you can have the confidence that my methods are kind and work before you commit to paying the rest (if you opt for a discount package).

Yes, but the best results tend to be achieved face-to-face. This way I can see the root cause of a behavioural issue for myself rather than a client incorrectly diagnosing the problem.
If you have one lesson prior to receiving your pup then this will be done online and will set you up to make confident start. The rest will be done face-to-face.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I take regular tests and will wear a mask if it helps my customers feel more comfortable.
