I’m thrilled to say that Kira has made tremendous strides in her 2 week and board training, and she can now enjoy the freedom of being off-leash. This development is a testament to the excellent training and significant milestone that has renewed a sense of freedom for both of us.

What made her trainer (Andrea) stand out was not just the result but the process. His comprehensive knowledge about dog behavior was very evident and he was always responsive to my questions, ensuring that I felt supported every step of the way.

One aspect that I particularly appreciated was the numerous videos Andrea sent during the sessions. The videos helped me to see the progress Kira was making even when I wasn’t physically present. Another noticeable positive effect of the training has been on Kira’s health. The combination of Andrea’s knowledge and guidance on maintaining training at home has contributed to Kira’s overall well being (she’s a lot happier and energetic!).

We sent our 9 month old labradoodle puppy, Milo, to stay with trainer Andrea for the two week board and train. It was almost impossible to enjoy taking Milo out before his training - he gets incredibly excited and wouldn’t respond to us at all, especially if there were other dogs around, leaving us frustrated and demotivated. After two weeks with Andrea, Milo was like a completely different dog in terms of his training response - finally we could take him on walks as well as let him enjoy time off leash in the park without worrying about his recall. Now we take him out with us everywhere and anywhere, and we definitely feel he’s bonded much more closely to us since his training as we have a newfound trust in him. We left our very energetic terrier pup with Andrea for a week’s train and board whilst we went on holiday. Andrea did a fantastic job of training Bertie, the communication was amazing, we were updated every day with videos and pictures and milestones reached. I would highly recommend Andrea as a dog trainer. When my dog first came to him, he had terrible recall, was very distractible, and pulling on the lead was a big challenge, especially because he is a larger breed dog. As a puppy, he was already strong enough to pull me. Additionally, he would bite the lead, couldn't wait for food, and would take items around the house and run off with them.

Thanks to Andrea's expertise and guidance, my dog now walks beautifully on the lead, and his recall has significantly improved to the point where we can trust him off the lead when appropriate. He has also become generally better behaved and more settled in the house.

My puppy went for a 2-week board & train with Andrea whilst I was away! This was a great way to really kickstart his training and teach him how yo focus and gain confidence as he is quite a shy/anxious pup! I had a four week training course with Andrea to improve my rescue dog’s recall. She is very prey driven and it was becoming very difficult to let her off the lead in the park because she would become fixated with squirrels and refuse to come back to us. The organisation promised that her recall would be improved by a huge percentage and it is. Andrea has a genuine love and a passion for dogs and approached each lesson with enthusiasm. Andrea was the trainer to my baby Milo and Andrea's love to the dogs is exceptional. withing few seconds our Milo became his friend and started to play. We couldn’t recommend Hannah enough! She trained our 1.5 year old Rottie for a week (board and train).

After our first consultation with Hannah we instantly felt we could trust her. Throughout the week she provided constant updates, photos and videos which we really appreciated. Off-Leash K9 was really responsive administratively and helpful in connecting me with our dog trainer Andrea, which we would recommend to dog owners of reactive dogs.

We did one-on-one coaching sessions for aggression with Andrea. He has a wealth of knowledge about dogs, and a high degree of empathy for them. Over the coaching sessions, we learnt about our dog’s psychology and how we can train both ourselves and our dog to best manage the aggression. Andrea often stayed past the 1 hr lesson, and would reach out via text to check in and respond to questions. He clearly cared for our dog and our issue. Because he has a lot of knowledge to soak in and learn from, it was also helpful when we’d prepare questions in advance and sit down and talk it through with him and structure what we’d hope to get out of the session. If you have a partner or co-owner, a tip would be to have two people at the training sessions to note things down as there’s a lot of useful nuggets he would say you’d want to record.

From what we’ve learnt from him, a lot of training with a dog is training of the human, so I’d really recommend one-on-one coaching sessions rather than board and train so you as the owner learns and also builds trust in yourself and from the dog in managing the situation. More...

Andrea was wonderful! Della walks fully off leash now, listens so well to commands, and her recall is perfect! Andrea also showed so much care for Della while she was with him, the photos and videos he sent during her stay were truly wonderful and kept me up to speed on her progress. Andrea was incredible with our boxer Carmela. We left a totally out of control dog who got overly excited about everything and anything (and we didn’t know how to control her) and we came back to a totally balanced dog. We are still a long road ahead but I finally can enjoy walking with her, totally trust her off leash and she lets me vacuum the house in peace.
Carmela also really bonded with Andrea, you could tell she loves him in all the videos and he was very caring and loving with her.

I have two Dobermans. My older Doberman has already been to Hannah at Off Leash K9 Training.
I thought having my second Doberman would be a lot easier but unfortunately she was extremely reactive. I couldn't walk her, she had zero recall and we couldn't go anywhere public. Hannah has completed changed her, she's so well behaved!

What can I say about Andrea, other than he is honestly brilliant at his profession with dog training!! We left Blue, our 2yo husky/chowchow/whippet cross breed with Andrea for a week to rehabilitate certain behaviours - mainly leash reactivity. His training not just focused on Blue, but also on us as pet owners to watch for Blue’s body language cues, knowing how to motivate himp as well as encouraging stronger bonds, establishing problem-solving skills and boosting Blue’s confidence.
Andrea has made such a positive impact on all of our lives. I love how much he loves Blue and brought out his potential. The positive changes we have immediately noticed are incredible and we are so grateful that Andrea has been able to share his skills, understanding and teaching with us. We decided to choose OLK9 after researching many trainers and were paired up with Andrea for an 8 week course.Pablo our rather large American Bulldog started suffering with anxiety and reactivity after we went back to work after lockdown, making it very difficult to walk him due to his leash pulling. Andrea was very calm and patient with Pablo who took a couple of weeks to gain his trust, the results were amazing, he is like a different dog on the lead which has given me the confidence now to enjoy our walks again. Andrea was fantastic with our dog, Bella, a lively lab cross. He understands dogs instinctively and helped us understand Bella’s perspective. It’s been a revelation in terms of walking Bella, which I now look forward to, and she walks by my side rather than always pulling ahead. He’s taught bella and us to reduce her reactivity to motorbikes and other dogs, and even got her to sit quietly while we go to a cafe or pub! I can now have her off leash with confidence. Our dog Harry recently completed 1 week board and train with Andrea. Harry’s recall had gone, pulling in kead was unbearable. Since returning we are able to walk Harry on lead no problem. I took my Pug x Boston Terrier to Andrea for the 8 week reactivity course. I am thoroughly pleased with the change I have seen in my dog. Andrea was clear that while changing Nellie's behaviour was important, the priority was correcting my behaviour in situations that typically end badly. Seeing dogs on my walks always struck panic in me, but I now see dogs when walking and look at it as an opportunity to keep Nellie improving. I have been shown how to safely approach dogs and ways in which to keep Nellie engaged with me rather than her focussing on the other dogs. The bond has also vastly improved between Nellie and I. I have been given tools and methods to control Nellie's reactivity, while also seeing her reactivity progressively decrease. I would 100% recommend to anyone who is struggling and feel somewhat hopeless about their situation as Andrea does fill you with confidence about how to improve and correct the problems. More...

I signed up my GS Bailey for the two week board and train. We was at our wits end and not enjoying walking him and had to change our lifestyle because I was unable to walk him because of his reactivity towards other dogs, and cats. I cannot recommend Andrea enough. He has worked wonders with my dog and kept us up to date from the moment I handed Bailey over on his progress daily.
When we picked him up, we had a good few hours making sure we was happy and confident in carrying on the good work that Bailey has learnt from Andrea.

Sent my one year old German Shepherd, Bruce, to be trained by Andrea for 2 weeks. We sent him for his reactivity towards other dogs and pulling on the lead, along with other issues like jumping on people. In only 2 weeks Bruce is completely transformed. Piper is my 3-year-old whippet, very much set in her ways, who had become increasingly reactive and aggressive to other (larger dogs). So, I sent her for the 2-week board and reactive training.
Andrea, my trainer, was patient and kind, and built up a connection with Piper, to enable effective training. I received daily videos, photographs, and general updates.
After 2 weeks, she is definitely much calmer. She walks to heal, responds to commands and her recall is great.
The handover session was particularly helpful and showed me how to effectively deal with any future reactive situations. There is also continued support, in the event that this is needed, which is great.

Andrea was really great with our young dog, he got her to focus and to listen to what we ask of her, she’s so focused on her nose most of the time so it was a real challenge. Andrea took my 6 month old Giant Schanuzer puppy under his wing for 2 weeks boarding and what a great decision that was! That two week period was completely transformational in her development. She went from being tough and reactive on the lead with no off leash recall to being a predictable and far more engaged puppy! Andrea is a magician! My 2 year old Vizsla has been struggling to get to grips with a few commands and behaviours meaning that he would never walk to heal, on or off lead; jumped up at everyone to say hello; had selective hearing on recall when distracted by people, dogs or balls.
Despite lots of time, effort and money being spent on other training including two previous residential training courses, none of them were able to make anywhere near the progress that Andrea has made in the course of only 2 weeks.
Since coming back, my dog has been able to walk to heal, off lead with me next to busy roads, past other dogs and adults and kids. Instead of panicking and rushing to keep him away from other people, I now know I can ask him to come back to me which he will do straight away.
Throughout the course of the 2 weeks, I received brilliant communication, photos and videos everyday and Andrea never failed to answer all my questions thoroughly, patiently and quickly.
Andrea is extremely knowledgeable and professional in training the dogs but it’s also very obvious that he really cares for them too, so not only is my dog much better behaved and under control, he is happier and I already have a better relationship with him.

Andrea is one of the nicest human beings you could ever possibly meet. We are forever grateful to him for how our dog Hugo has come home and the training that Andrea took him through.
Despite working with two trainers previously, we saw little to no improvement and was feeling deflated in our training. We struggled with off leash heel, lead manners, recall and general reactivity to other dogs on occasion. I'm just 2 weeks with An-drea, Hugo is a changed dog-everything we outlined as an issue was addressed in great detail by Andrea. Hugo has come back walking perfectly on/off lead, recalling away from other dogs and in general a calmer natured dog even being a 1 year old Samoyed.
What we loved about Andrea's approach is that he took into account Hugo's age, nature and breed with all the training, he also bonded so well with Hugo and treated him as if he was his own which meant that Hugo enjoyed his time with him along with many belly rubs. We received daily updates in the form of videos, pictures and voice notes updating us on Hugo's progress and this allowed us to follow along. Hannah is a wizard.

I booked my American Bully whiskey for a 2 week reactive board and train and I can say without a doubt that this was the best investment we’ve ever made for our pooch and her well-being.

Whiskey is leash reactive— and with her breed we couldn’t risk taking her out in public frequently. We got her back two days ago and she is completely unfazed by other dogs and people. We are blown away. My husband and I are joking that she isn’t the same dog anymore.

This is the 4th time we’ve hired a trainer for Whiskey and this was hands down the best experience. Hannah was kind, loving (Whiskey was sad to leave!), and provided us with timely updates. If you’re thinking about it— DO IT. They are professionals. More...

Finn is a 15 month old Rhodesian Ridgeback who's training was interrupted by my husband and I experiencing unexpected health issues at the same time.
The results of two weeks boarding training with Hannah has exceeded all our expectations and put him right back on track. We cannot express our thanks and appreciation enough for her wonderfully professional approach, her knowledge and expertise. She clearly loves dogs and Finn so obviously loved her right back.
We now feel well equipped to continue with his training and development as he grows.
He was obviously happy throughout the training, as demonstrated in the wonderful daily updates and videos we received.

I honestly can’t thank Hannah and the team highly enough! Hannah completely changed Alfie from a pain in the butt, to a pleasure to walk and be around, he no longer pulls on lead, so much calmer meeting other dogs, he is now much better at recall, comes back after 1 or 2 calls even if there is distractions from other dogs around. He is also calmer meeting most people, strangers he tends not the jump up anymore, people he knows he will jump as he is so excited to see them.
