Wonderful pub. Wonderful people. A warm welcome awaits. . . We eat here most weeks and can honestly say we have never had a bad meal.
I notice some new beers have been introduced recently which is a nice change.

Best food I've ever had , gorgeous proper old worldly pub and the prices are cracking as well.
Brilliant garden and play area for the kids and the staff are very warm and welcoming.

Went here with 40 friends from work for Christmas 2015. Atmosphere was stunning, food was amazing and staff were so lovely polite and efficient. Really nice to be able to sit on the decking area after our food and relax under the heaters and chat and have a few drinks. Everyone loved it!! I have been to The Masons a few times now and the food is fabulous. Set in lovely surroundings with a friendly atmosphere, the food is hot, well presented and tasty. The Monday to Thursday meal deal is particularly a bargain not to be missed but the main menu is also outstanding and worth every penny.Definitely to be recommended. More...

A very pleasant Country Inn. lovely and warm atmosphere and spotlessly clean. We had a lunch time meal and choose from there lite bite menu .
.... well if that's there lite bite servings...... The main menu would satisfy the hungriest of eaters (and very comprehensive and tempting it looked). I was well impressed with their facilities and they had a baby's changing room for parents (or grandparents) to change baby's nappies
A really nice family Inn.
Outside was a good size car park so your vehicle is safe off the main road, and a large area for children to play whilst there parents can sit and watch over them (when the weather is a lot warmer as it was late November when we visited).
All in all, our visit was a very pleasant one, and would recommend it to any of my friends.

Went to the Masons Arms this afternoon with 6 girls (aged between 50s and 60s ) for afternoon tea to celebrate a 60th birthday. BEST afternoon tea I’ve ever had! ! Was amazing - so much food and never ending teapots, the staff couldn’t do enough for us , the welcome was amazing. All said we would definitely go back, can’t recommend highly enough.
