Ian was an absolute gem!! He worked so well with us to get some amazing shots! It poured down on our wedding day but he managed to get everything we wanted and more!
I remember at the end of the night under the brolly and Ian getting absolutely soaked in the rain, Amazing dedication to get the shot that everybody loves!! I can’t thank Ian enough for the memories he managed to capture!

I could not have found a better photographer for our wedding than Ian. From the initial conversation through to the end he was a pleasure to work with. We could not have asked for better photos and they truly capture our personality and the essence of what was a perfect day. Ian was patient with a camera shy bride and groom and helped us feel comfortable enough to get the perfect shots, he worked throughout the day to ensure not a moment was missed. We got married last year. My future wife was very keen on the memories of the big day so I asked around my circle of friends and did the usual research on the internet for local photographers. What impressed me about Ian Brookes Photography was his obvious care in presenting his work on his website to reflect the experience of previous brides and grooms. The day was fantastic and a major part of capturing the moment was the extensive photography Ian did for us. My wife was at ease the whole time and he captured some great moments for us. One that sticks in my mind is when our 4-year old daughter was having a 'melt down' and Ian was experienced enough to get her attention, and led to the great shot on his website. What ended up as a difficult moment ended up as the surprise photograph in our portfolio that I personally cherish. My wife and I recently celebrated our wedding anniversary and we got the wedding album out. The day itself is captured in the images and it is like reliving the day when looking at them.
