ESP Security Services Limited (ESP) is a highly respected, ACS accredited, customer-focused, fast growing, ISO 9001 accredited security company. We have been providing manned guarding, key holding and alarm response, dog handling, and technology-based security solutions to our customers since our formation in 2009 by the Managing Director, Tom Robinson.
Tom founded ESP with the ethos “Operating in Integrity” to drive a customer-focused security company that strives to push the industry standards higher and higher ensuring we exceed our client’s expectations. Tom has a wealth of knowledge and experience ranging from international close protection operations, well known TV shows, to village hall parties and the doors of your local pub. ESP has created a world where our clients, and their customers, feel safe and protected.
ESP strives to be flexible and adaptable in our security solutions by tailoring each of our services to the specific needs of each client so we can deliver a first-class service. This is achieved through the wide range of security services we can offer including manned guarding, key holding and 24/7/365 quick alarm response, secure transportation, close protection, CCTV installation and monitoring, dog handling, festivals and events, and security consultancy. We offer the full end-to-end solution from undertaking initial health and safety reviews, creating risk assessments and assignment instructions, to developing the appropriate security solution, providing customer-focused security guards, to wash meetings so we can continuously improve the service we deliver.
We currently have a resource of 91 outstanding SIA licenced guards located across the England and Wales. ESP is an approved training provider, and all our security guards are fully trained to Door Supervisor Level 2 in line with BS10800:2020 for security services, BS7499:2020 for static guarding and BS7984-1:2016 for key holding services. Health and safety are paramount to ESP, so our security guards are trained to either Emergency First Aid at Work, or First Aid at Work.
We have a strict and rigorous screening process to BS7858:2019 and pay above the National Living Wage to ensure we have the right guards at the right time. Our security guards are trained in customer service and communication so they can deliver the high standard of service we expect of them, and our clients deserve. All security guards are supplied with uniform suitable for a neat and tidy appearance with badges and identification cards to show who they are.
Within ESP’s Head Office, we have a Control Room manned 24/7/365, with experienced and knowledgeable Controllers to support our guards. Our Controllers are in communication with our security guards at the start and end of each shift to ensure they are happy and prepared. Our Controllers have been briefed on how to recognise and highlight mental health flags which are escalated to our HR Manager who undertakes additional welfare checks to go above and beyond for our guards.
