Cake Creations & Celebrations was founded in 2015 but only ran on a part time basis as I was still doing my 'day job' working for the NHS. I made cakes for family and close friends as a hobby baker, but not getting any kind of a wage, just enjoying creating the cakes.

Julie made our lovely christening cake for our daughter. I was blown away with the toy box design, all the toys, the toy blocks with her name on, as well as the bunting around the cake. Julie made our wedding cake, the end result was perfect the amount of comments we had during our special day about our cake was amazing. There was great communication to sort the plans for the cake and it was exactly what we wanted and it didnt only look amazing the taste was gorgeous too and everyone commented about this too � would defiantly recommend. Julie made my simple but very elegant 3 tier wedding cake just as i wanted and there was not a mark on the ivory icing. It was so smooth! Sponge cake was very light and tasted fantastic and we had a tasting session prior to my final choices. It was delivered and assembled at wedding venue without a hitch and comments from staff were lovely. It was so brilliant i booked another cake for my son's 18th. This time it was a Waterpolo theme and it was just how i wanted it and tasted just as good as it looked. Would definitely recommend to all my friends and family. What do you love most about your job?
Working with clients ensuring they have the best experience when they are celebrating an event or simp,y having a special treat. I've worked with the public (previously in the NHS) for the past 19 years. I love meeting people from all walks of life.
And quite simply, I love my job as my passion is baking.
What inspired you to start your own business?
After making creations for family and friends for a couple of years, I was getting lots of positive feedback telling me that I should start my own business. Working for myself has allowed me to spend more time making cusomters happy, also being able to work hours which suits me. This may be longer working weeks than I did when I was employed, but because I love my new role so much, it's really not a chore,
Why should our clients choose you?
I have a rating of 5 with the environmental health system (scores on the doors) which is the highest score that can be given. This means I am following guidelines around food safety, hygiene and health and safety. I take this very seriously.
Along with this I have positive feedback on both my Facebook pages (5*).
I am approachable, yet professional and like to work closely with customers ensuring they get the outcome they really want.
Afternoon Tea Delivery
Afternoon tea delivered to a venue of customer's choice.
The food is presented on a cake stand and is then wrapped in cellophane and finished with a ribbon bow (choice of colours). All vintage crockery is provided.
