Tracy did my flowers for our wedding 2 days ago and I can’t tell you how over the moon we were...the bouquets, the ceremony room decor, the ladder display and the utterly glorious piece of art that was the flower chandelier. Tracy ran a floral crown workshop for my hen do in London. It was fab! The flowers were beautiful; Tracy was really friendly and explained clearly how to assemble the crown. Everyone had a great time and we all ended up with beautiful crowns - some with more help than others (me included!) The venue Tracy recommended was also a great choice. What do you love most about your job?
I love to create unique and tailor made arrangements based on seasonality and sustainability my desire has always been to create abundant and textually inspired arrangements which more often than not, reflect the season in which they are made. I take into consideration an aesthetic, a mood or sense of an occasion, all the while drawing attention to the uniqueness of every single flower I use. I work throughout the year relying on a combination of imported as well as locally grown flowers and foliage to fulfil my varied portfolio of weddings and events.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I was inspired by my love of nature and just how much joy flowers bring to people. Its a simple statement but that is the truth.
I am the lone creative behind every single arrangement with an ad hoc team of talented freelance florists working alongside me in my studio. I am still as passionate and enthusiatic as I was when I created Blend & Bloom never following the crowd but preferring my own instinctive floral style.
