What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Patience and being open to trying new things. Listening to the client on what they want helps make it easy to get the photos they want and also helps me to try new things and give them some photos they hadn't thought of .
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
I get to know them first, meeting them and establishing a relationship is a must. I need to learn about who they are and get a feel for their personality so I can best capture what they would like to remember.
What do you love most about your job?
I get to meet people from all walks of life and get different perspectives on everything. My clients sometimes are the ones to propose a new angle or pose while shooting and then I can take that into my next shoot. Learning from everyone is what makes photography so fun.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I had the equipment and had been doing free shoots for friends, and they all kept telling me I should start a business, so I did.
Why should our clients choose you?
Not every photographer and client mesh. I'm a firm believer that you should only hire a photographer if you truly feel they understand what you want them to capture. My goal is to turn events into memories, if you feel like I understand what you want, you should hire me because I will make sure you get the photos you wanted.
