New Best Friends are brilliant! Louise and her team are friendly, trust worthy and excellent at feedback after every single walk! My dogs love spending time on their walks and they go to a variety of different places to keep them occupied! They are flexible to my work shift pattern and able to accommodate at very short notice! They Have also given me advice when I adopted a second dog of a few behaviour issues that needed resolving! More...

Thanks so much for the lovely review!!

From the first meeting I felt that both Louise and Nicola had a genuine affection for my dogs, one of which is usually wary of strangers but treated Louise like her new best friend.
The dogs go mad when Louise or Nicola arrive to take them out and I feel confident that my dogs will be safe and well cared for while having fun, The photos taken on each walk are a lovely bonus.

Nicola has recently starting doing training walks and solo walks with my boisterous labradoodle who is scared of cars and pulls on the lead. We can already see a massive improvement in him. He's now moved on to some group walks, which I wasn't sure he would be able to do, but Nicola is fantastic and manages him really well. He's loving life. More...

Louise is brilliant with Harlequin, her training, guidance and general care towards him exceeds our expectations. Also, the added touches such as daily reports and occasional pics/videos of progress makes her service stand out from the rest. We are really happy with Louise and would encourage anyone after a dog sitter to go with Louise! More...

Louise has looked after my 2 dogs a few times now and I cannot recommend her highly enough. One of them is very nervous and doesn't like anyone new and within a 10 minutes of meeting they were like old friends. I can go out when required and feel assured that they are well looked after and having fun. More...

Louise has looked after our two dogs on several occasions. She has an unrivalled love and interest in every dog in her care, which makes her -in my eyes - the most superior choice. I feel completely confident and comfortable that our dogs are being loved, exercised and looked after whilst we are away. The fact Louise has experience as a veterinary nurse, means there is an additional facet to her knowledge base. I’d highly recommend Your New Best Friends, you won’t be disappointed. More...

Specialist Separation Anxiety Programmes
Louise Campbell-Pierson SAPT is a qualified Separation Anxiety Pro Trainer (SAPT) with Julie Naismith.
She is on hand to help you with expert specialist guidance and ongoing support to get you to your goal of having a happy dog when home alone. It can feel like you’re completely alone and you’ve tried everything and nothing works but I promise there is a way!
Our aim in training is to teach your dog to become confident and happy alone. The most effective way to do this is to do gradual exposure to being left alone. Making sure at every step there is not fear being exhibited, so they learn alone time is not scary.
Why is virtual training best for Separation Anxiety?
Separation Anxiety is actually best treated remotely. When you think about it, what is it we are trying to teach the dog to be comfortable with? Being alone!
There simply isn't a way to work with this being in the room with both you and your dog or puppy (we haven't quite yet perfected the art of invisibility).
We work with you, virtually via online consultations, video reviews, the SA Pro training app, easy and convenient ongoing Whatsapp support. We become the trainer in your pocket.
The aim of the game with training is to teach you the methods and give you as much support as you need until you no longer need us!
