I would definitely recommend Xytron Data Recovery. In February 2019 my hard drive suffered a large power spike which resulted in my data being completely inaccessible, and potentially destroyed. During a stressful time, Xytron were able to retrieve all of my files and data which in turn saved me countless of tiresome hours of having to do it all over again. I was given the Xytron Data Recovery name when it was found my laptop hard drive was not working. A phone call made, an email with information received on what could be done , spoke again to Richard. So helpful! Sent off my hard drive and a memory stick , another email. Yes all my files could be retrieved. I was sent a list of my files. I rang to pay. Very happy with the service from Xytron who recovered my data from a hard drive that had stopped spinning. Communication and service were efficient and I was kept regularly informed of progress. Only reason I haven't given 5 stars is that the final cost was higher than what was quoted. Think this may have been partly down to miscommunication around additional cost of VAT. After my hard drive dropped on the floor I lost access to every photo and every document I had created since 2004! I stupidly didnt have back ups. Richard was very professional, I sent him my broken hard drive and he saved my life by recovering everything and sending me it back on a new hard drive within a week. When considering who to entrust with recovering data from my Mac HD I took a measured approach, I wanted the best in the industry as I might only get one chance. Reviews told me Xytron was the company to trust and you can add this review to the pile of recommendations, they’re supremely professional: no fuss, no sales pitch - they just did the business, exactly what you’d want for the job at hand. When my hard drive crashed I was aghast. All my work, inspired dictation, personal memories and writings disappeared. I was acceptance but really wanted the material back. Richard at Xytron Data Recovery in Hereford knew straight away the situation and was empathetic. Like a hospital surgery they set about the operation keeping me informed as the work progressed. I couldn't have asked for more in terms of professionalism and or understanding. In the end it was a 100& retrieval with, as muted, a sprinkle of kindness added for good measure. I experienced my first major data loss recently and Xytron offered a fantastic service!I spoke with Richard, who immediately helped to identify the issue, gave clear advise and explained the recovery process for my media. I found the company via Trust Pilot after attempting to navigate the 'recovery' industry online, which is less that reassuring. However, it was clear that Xytron would offer the kind of professional service which I needed to get my important work data back.Recovery can be expensive and frustrating but I have to thank the team for doing a great job in a very short period of time and for keeping me updated on a daily basis during the process. I tried several other companies before finding Xytron. The first I found border line criminal, both in terms of the price they quoted for the work they did (which they only provided after taking my hard drives in), and in terms of their customer service, which I would suggest they were effectively holding my data hostage. The next couple of companies were at least more up front, and made it clear the cost before even taking my drives. Needless to say i did not even give them the chance to look at my drives.Xytron was completely different - friendly, up-front and honest. Initially they gave me a price bracket until they looked at the drives (this bracket was based on my comprehensive description of what happened). They they took in the drives and analysed them for a solution, which they quickly provided (in the timescales they stated). At this point they quoted a fixed price which was within the initial bracket they quoted. They then recovered the data, and were very helpful and immediately acted on my feedback (which was on the file listing they provided) - giving me a much easier to read file listing. Based on this we worked together to recover even more of my data.Make no mistake - data recovery is an expensive business (you should take back ups!!!!), but i found Xytron not only the most reasonable, but the most honest and professional with it, and therefore i would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone who finds themselves in a situation with lost data with no back-ups. Really grateful to these guys!Our MD's iMac harddrive failed and he hadn't been backing up regularly. I sent an email to Xytron and they were quick to respond and offer their assistance. I researched a few companies before settling on Xytron to recover my damaged hard drive due to the reviews already in place and i'm happy to report i wasn't disappointed. Richard, who i dealt with, was very helpful, quick to reply to my emails and after describing my problem my worries of losing my treasured pictures were immediately put to rest. I cannot recommend this company highly enough, sure there are some others offering similar services at slightly lower prices but just searching their name on Google will quickly explain why. With something as important as this i'd rather pay a little extra to ensure a top notch service which is what i and others have received with Xytron. Xytron recovered all of the data from a failed HDD installed in one of the servers I use at work. The data had been accumulated over many years and was the output of the CFD work I do. As a rough estimate, if we were to have had all of the CFD models built again to generate the data by a third party, we would have been looking at a bill of around £150k.
