First of all this is a cool area I hadn’t visited before as I’ve usually stayed in Charleston proper. There’s great dining, shopping, entertainment and even a casino in walking distance of this sweet property which had more than enough things to keep me occupied on site. Now I had never stayed with this brand before and didn’t know what to expect with a Wyndham Garden as the mother brand represents Ramada as well which can vary in quality – let me tell you, this property is not a Ramada – I’d put it up against any Holiday Inn any day. Had a fast and friendly late check-in and was also excited to find they have a nice but reasonably priced bar and grille on site (also with a lotto room). I was stoked to find out that they not only have a heated outdoor pool, but an indoor pool and hot tub which are open super late with 11pm-2am being used as an adult swim. Also loved the palm trees and tropical environment surrounding the pool. I’m not sure how old this property is – it seems brand new as all the paint and furniture is crisp and pristine. I LOVED the citrus tinged toiletries. The complimentary hot breakfast is out of this world – Holiday Inn Express can’t touch it. The staff here truly cares – there’s plenty of phone numbers you can even text and a chat on the internet splash screen should you need assistance. Something else cool I hadn’t seen before is the keypad password protected elevator and external doors. Only complaint I had is that I didn’t have more time to spend here which is my fault. I’m curious to visit other Wyndham Gardens to see if they are all this wonderful. A+ More...

First time we have been there as it was lovely. My daughter had some friends to swim for her birthday and they let us use the dining hall for pizza and food. The kids swam till 11ish and 1 adult n 4 kids stayed. Decent price, free breakfast. Definitely would stay here again More...

Easy on Easy off the highway. Big, Spacious, Clean Rooms. Very Friendly staff! The night Time Bartender was Great! And their Sweet Tea is made in house! And it is Excellent! Also I highly recommend the fried Pickle spears. My wife and I would Definitely stay here again if ever in WV. More...

I don't know where to start! I use to stay here when it was a choice property. I was so sad when it turned hands because as a employee I will not get a discount. This was a very family orient place to stay. I went for it and stayed anyway and to my surprise I LOVE it even more! The staff seam like there really like their job, a smile goes a long way. The hallway no longer looks endless. Great choice of lights. Rooms and bedding was so comfortable. Now the cons: the bar closed early, and the gamble room was a mess 3 machines out of 5 were down. I felt like I good didn't want to touch them the machines could be wiped down periodically as a gambler when you want play you want to clean environment it makes you stay longer. It was a Friday night no where to get change but the front counter. Overall I'll be back, I will recommend it, just hit the casino if thou wanna gamble. More...

A little trouble at first with website redeeming my Wyndham Rewards points...but the phone call and wait was well worth it.
This is how a business should be run and how a hotel should operate. Everything was in place, There appeared to be an employee or associate ready and willing to tackle any problem. At the breakfast area with a herd of hungry people flying through and making a mess, someone was at the ready cleaning up a mess of eggs on the floor. The area was constantly immaculate. The rooms were very comfortable and large. We've always loved the beds and pillows at Wyndham hotels. The Wyndham Garden Hotel Charleston WV is now one of our favorite places to stay and we WILL be there again.

My husband and I were exhausted after a long drive and needed a place to stay. This was the only place with rooms available, and we ended up being very happy we stayed. The front desk person was very helpful in helping us check in and also had lots of knowledge on where to grab a quick bite to eat late at night, and information on what to do when we got to our vacation destination. We had reservation at a neighboring hotel and when we tried to check in there, we were told that their policy had changed and under 21 guests were not allowed to stay there ( we have teen). We were referred to Wyndham where we were quickly given a nice clean room and treated very well. We had been driving for 6 hours and needless to say we were frustrated however the staff was accommodating and friendly. Thanks for helping us in a pinch! More...

We stopped there on our way to Myrtle Beach and then again on our way back because it was so nice. The rooms, lobby, eating area and in general the hotel was clean. The breakfast was great and better then the usual hotel breakfasts. The staff was so friendly and helpful that was another reason we stayed again there on our way back home. They had keypads for the outside doors which was nice instead of using your hotel card to get in the doors. I'd recommend this place. More...

The staff members were so friendly and helpful. We needed a room just for the night since we were just passing through. The room was so clean and smelled fresh. The shower was a real plus The breakfast was average.( the biscuits were cold and spongy and they were out of orange juice) The price was great and the guy there ran immediately and got us a roll away bed for our adult daughter. They couldn't have been more helpful and kind. The two guys working the desk seemed like family with their friendly attitudes. I especially want to recognize the housekeeper that was on duty. I could see she was very focused and thorough with her cleaning of the rooms. I took a moment to tell her I appreciated her hard work to make things great for the customers. My fiancé and I ALWAYS stay here when he works in the area. The people here are so kind & go the extra mile to make your stay the best it can be. We drove over 400 miles back and forth from here to our home. We ended up just getting a room here because we were so exhausted from making all the trips. The next trip up i was so tired and I figured since check out wasn’t until 3pm I’d have to find something to do while my fiancé worked. After going to the Walmart and trying to not fall asleep in a parking lot i decided to call the hotel , I spoke to Sarah & she let me come earlier so I could rest after all the driving i had done. I couldn’t have been happier to hear her say, “Go ahead and come to the hotel we will take care of you.” The breakfasts are wonderful and again i can’t express how kind the staff is! They've done alot pf improvements over the past year apsecaily the breakfest so glad they brought sausage gravy back. Also I'm shocked that Amanda the front desk clerk remembered me from last year and I was so surprised you call kept my plaques I made I worked hard on them and I'm so great ful. I had fun at the garden grill too making people laugh at me including employees. I just want to say I'm happy for the improvements that you guys did over the past year and happy you kept my plaques I cant wait to come back again More...

First time staying at Wyndam, I have paid a lot more for a room and gotten a lot less. Room and hotel was clean children had a lot of fun in both heated pools.
