Harry and his team did an excellent job removing several large conifers from my neighbours garden and a sycamore from my garden. The conifers were in an awkward place but their removal was completed in a professional and tidy manner. All the waste was taken away and no mess left behind. This team worked in my immediate neighbours garden. Instead of taking the tree cuttings away they burnt them in the garden very near to our wooden fence. The smoke was thick and billowed over our garden and into the house for at least an hour and a half. Children were playing in the garden and washing was on the line. they were asked twice not yo continue but ignored the request. My grandaughter has asthma, so does my husband and daughter all of whom suffered immensely from this incident My house now smells of smoke, I am unable to get rid of the smell. In one day the team removed a very large, arkwardly placed beech tree that was in danger of falling over a road. They were very professional and efficient and they consulted with us at every stage. They were careful to ensure the safety of road users and even spent time ensuring local residents that the tree was very dead. Harry, and his excellent team, did a top grade job cutting back a an out of control Leylandi, in a difficult location. They also removed a stand of diseased sycamore and cut back a large laurel tree. I have a large listed Copper Beech tree in my front garden which oversails my house. I wanted to raise the crown of the tree but wasn't sure how to go about it. Harry came to see me and talked me through the process, he then obtained a licence from the tree officer granting permission at the same time as providing me with a quote to carry out the works. Great professional service that has saved me from a potential disaster in the future.

Harry and his team came to clear some trees, and deadwood an old oak tree, at my property in a Conservation Zone. However, Harry’s assessment was that the oak was dying, and was unsafe, and so should be removed than trimmed. He negotiated on my behalf with the council’s tree officer, as they instructed me to retain the tree until after it had completely died. This was a very good judgement call, as the oak turned out to be rotten inside the trunk, and would certainly have ended up on top of my house in the next year or two.

Harry did a thorough site review with me before quoting so we both knew exactly what job we were agreeing on. The job was done swiftly, safely and very tidily.
The job entailed taking down a Silver Birch next to my house (done very carefully and with no damage to anything, including shrubs directly at the foot of the tree), reducing a small screening hedge by about 60% (done to exactly what I wanted) and reshaping a Crab Apple tree (which was done with care and thought).
I am delighted with what Harry and his team have done today and would happily recommend him to anyone who needs tree work done. I also hope to use him for some site work in Monmouth on some full size Willows and Alders in future. More...

Harry & Justin were working next door so I asked could they sort an overhanging tree out for me as they were in the area. No problem, a very professional job well done . Larger wood all blocked to size for my wood burner, and would have taken the brushwood away if needed - garden all left neat & tidy. Got on quickly with the job even though on hourly rate.
