Julia treated me after eye surgery for a dettached retina. After the operation, my vision and prognosis was very poor and the consultant said I would only get a small percentage of my vision back. Julia suggested acupuncture may help and after only six treatments of acupuncture, my vision started to improve against all odds. In fact the results defied the predictions by my consultant. Julia is a passionately knowledgeable and skilled acupuncturist who has helped me more than I probably even realise. I initially turned to her for help inducing my overdue baby. On the fourth day of treatment, I immediately started having regular contractions and spent the first hour of active labour with the needles in, experiencing no pain from the contractions. I went on to have a very manageable, short and straightforward homebirth -- I highly recommend her to any expectant mother. I've continued seeing Julia through some incredibly difficult times and I've really benefited from her acupuncture but also from her compassion and wisdom through it all.
