His prices are very reasonable , its obvious he is a very experienced plumber and boiler fitter and he is not happy unless he completes the job to his high standards. Phil responded quickly to a call-out when our boiler broke down in mid-Jan, identified the parts required to fix it and came back as soon as they arrived, to carry out the repairs. He carried out the repairs quickly and got the system working again within a couple of hours, thank-goodness! He was friendly, considerate, on-time and responsive in our communications. Having moved in to our new home, I knew nothing about boilers. I couldn't get any hot water with an error message coming up on the boiler itself. Having consulted the manual and searched the internet for answers I thought I was condemned to an emergency plumber call out. I gave wonderfuel a call and he talked me through the process in 5 minutes and fixed the issue over the phone. I imagine most plumbers would have come out and charged a high tariff for their time but this act of generosity and kindness is a dying trait and means that Wonderfuel could not come more highly recommended. Wonderfuel Gas came to fix my 20 year old Potterton boiler after a previous engineer from another company who had come to service it managed to wreck it and tried to sell me a new one. Wonderfuel Gas came and quickly sourced the new part for my boiler and fixed it and it now works brilliantly. Wonderfuel were prompt, efficient, no hassle and quality of work was excellent. They also promptly fixed a small longstanding leak in the airing cupboard pipework - also efficiently and with excellent quality of work. What do you love most about your job?
Being able to do the job I enjoy doing makes a big difference. The results for the customers are obvious, a better job done,a quality service etc.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have always wanted to run my own business as I could do the job I like and have flexibility in doing various jobs per week.
Why should our clients choose you?
Because I am told by my customers most of the time I am much cheaper than the other tradesman they had to quote. They are always impressed not only with the cheaper price but they realise I didn't cust corners in doing the job. This comes with over 27 years as a fully qualified Gas Engineer who is Gas Safe registered.
