I have a ten month old puppy, who, whilst being wonderfully fun, loving, playful and kind natured, seemed totally uneasy on the lead. Taking him for a walk always started with a very stressful 10 minute pull to the park, before a great time playing off the lead. These ten minutes often had me close to tears, especially as I knew in a matter of months I would be adding a pram into the mix!I contacted Alex to seek her understand, advise and training. I was initially interested in her “train for you” service, as time was limited.Alex responded quickly and was able to accommodate my diary and meet with our pup. She immediately noticed how anxious he was and helped explain his behaviour and other behaviours that we hadn’t picked up on, which could become problematic, especially with a child. Alex spent 3 sessions with our pup, observing him in his natural environment, training him at home and outside, and providing us with great insight, detailed notes on behaviour, reasons for behaviour, what we needed to change ourselves, diet, and how to establish good practises and training techniques. Alex was able to show us first hand how much impact could be had in 45 minutes and how the change needed to start with us. It was incredibly eye opening and there was a lot more depth that I would have assumed. However it is the depth of knowledge that Alex has, and how she can convey that simply and effectively, that made her such a pleasure to work with, and why we credit her entirely with the improvement we have seen in our puppy. Alex has a wonderfully warm and personable nature, which makes working with her very enjoyable. She always gives timely and detailed notes with videos, supporting information and follow ups. Alex is an incredible dog trainer and has helped us immensely during and after the sessions we had with her. From nutrition to body language, Alex taught us so much throughout our training sessions, catering and adjusting each session based on our dog and his needs and worries. Riley has always been a lead puller since we adopted him last year, but since meeting Alex there has been great improvement, primarily coming from Alex’s vast amount of knowledge and helping us understand Riley’s body language whilst we’re out on walks. Alex always provides detailed emails following our sessions including everything we have learnt and discussed, something I always recheck over time to keep everything fresh in my mind. Alex has been absolutely wonderful to work with and we would highly recommend her for anyone looking to train their dog. Not only does Alex understand dog behaviour, she's also extremely knowledgable about their nutrition and how it plays a role in certain behaviours. Our dog Spark adored our sessions with Alex and we learned a lot about how to communicate with our pup going forward and gained confidence with recall and other cues. I am blown away by Korra's improvements under Alexandra's supervision. We have had some behavioural issues for years and in only a few months, my dog has massively improved and I credit Alexandra's skills, attention to detail and love for dogs. She really knows what she is talking about, she understand each breads and respects dogs as individuals and she happily shares her knowledge with you so you are empowered to take better care of your companion. Alex is a friendly, extremely knowledgeable trainer, and I highly recommed her to anyone who is looking for guidance on training their pup. As first time dog owners, my family and I wanted to make sure we did everything right for our German Shephard puppy. Alex's sessions helped us to build our knowledge on a variety of subjects including mouthing, socialising and recall training. Everything she said, she backed up with logic and reasoning to help us understand why we should train our puppy using a particular training method. The emails Alex sends after each session are great to use as a written record of each session, so we don't forget any of the information learnt in the lesson. Alex was INCREDIBLE! Our dog Kumo had a serious problem with demand barking and would constantly pull us on the lead. Now he walks perfectly and constantly checks-in with us! I learnt so much from Alex. She is an exceptional trainer. She showed me how to use the clicker effectively which has been instrumental in turning her crazy pup into a well mannered doggy citizen! it is because of her our puppy waits on her mat while we answer the front door. Alex is THE dog trainer that you want and need, whatever your canine requirements are! She brings exemplary passion, knowledge and professionalism to every training session. My little puppy, Maximus, responded well and immediately to her approach. Alex doesn't just provide effective training, but she explains in great detail the thinking behind her approach. The results speak for themselves. Alex is very knowledgeable, always willing to help and ensures she is constantly up-to-date on the latest training methodologies and even nutritional information. She really goes above and beyond, offering advice between training sessions if required and regularly checks in. Also very helpful, her professional summary notes and tips following each session. Alex can share a host of useful links, both for training purposes but also all dog-related products (e.g food, harnesses, playpens).

Alex is a fantastic dog trainer and all round lovely person. It's obvious that she adores dogs and really understands them. Her methods are exceptionally effective but gentle. We just adopted our first dog, a slightly boisterous but very sweet mixed breed from Greece and within a few weeks he has learnt so much. I can’t recommend WW Dog Training and Alex highly enough! I have reached out to them following my first week with my new puppy with the objective of learning more about positive reinforcement behaviour and how to train my pup. Following an initial chat over the phone with Alex I was already highly impressed by her passion and professionality hence decided to go for the five puppy sessions.

I have now finished the training, which was overall a very pleasant experience, feeling not only more knowledgeable, but also learned how to easily click train my puppy and feel more confident when with her or away from her.

I can not recommend Alex highly enough for dog training. Our new dog, as a rescue, came with a number of issues which we have needed to work throughly sensitively and slowly. Alex was attentive to all the information we were able to provide him which made us feel confident in both her passion for training and her knowledge. She is hugely supportive, kind and encouraging both during training and after. At no point did she make us feel failures for not having the perfectly behaved dog but instead was able to offer rational explanations and modify the training so if felt extremely tailored to us and our dog. It is obvious that she is passionate about her profession and never complacent that she knows it all. Instead she is constantly researching information and attending courses to improve her knowledge. The amount of information that you receive during a training session is often overwhelming, and difficult to retain but here's the difference, Alex follows up each training session with an email linking you to training videos to remind you of all the information, and literature recommendations. She provides routines for you to work through and then follows up. Her attention to detail is amazing but at no point does she make you feel an idiot for not mastering often complex and subtle modifications in your own behaviour which make all the difference in having a confident, happy dog who is well-behaved and your very best friend. Alex came as a recommendation to us and was amazing! Not only is she highly knowledgeable about dogs, but the care and love she had for our fur baby shined through. Our mini dachshund puppy, Max adored her and responded quickly to her training. What I especially loved is that she sends a follow up email with full notes after each session and homework + follows up after to see how we are getting on so you really do make amazing progress.
