What do you love most about your job?
I feel like I have done a great job when clients tell me that they feel better for getting things sorted. I love helping people and if I can save their estates money to pass onto their loved ones, then I know I have done a good job.
I particularly like supporting clients after the death of a loved one. I like sorting out the paperwork and making a very difficult time a little bit easier for someone.
I became a lawyer because I wanted to help people and this desire is at the forefront of all of my work.
What inspired you to start your own business?
After the death of my father I was disillusioned with the legal advice and service that I received. I felt there was a better way to deal with things, so I decided to put that into practice by setting up Wills Jacobsen. Before I set up Wills Jacobsen I was a partner at a firm in Greater London. I have been a lawyer for 16 years and still very much enjoy my job.
