The food was delicious and we got so many compliments but the entire experience was BEYOND that. Starting at the ceremony they had pre wedding drinks available with water and apple cider that guests could get while waiting. After the ceremony (not even 5 minutes) we had waiters offering us appetizers while taking photographs because they wanted to make sure we tried everything. During cocktail hour, they had drinks prepoured so the waiting time was a lot less for guests. The waiters were on us all night making sure we had everything we could ever want or need. The service was so above expectation and all the waiters were so sweet and attentive. They were ready to adjust immediately when they heard we were moving speeches around to make sure the attention was on our MOH and Best Man. I also barely ate so they wrapped up a few different dinners for me to take back to the hotel. I was so hungry at the end so when I saw a huge catering tray at my sweetheart table I could've cried. Before the wedding, Rick even came to our house for our tasting and he made us so comfortable, gave us tips that we never would've thought of, helped with the timeline and just served us delicious food. 100% recommend. We hired Williamson Caterers for our rustic barn wedding and from the very first time I spoke with both Rick and Lindsay I was instantly confident that they would provide a great and worry free catering experience for our wedding. Not only were the prices extremely reasonable, the food was absolutely delicious. Many guests at our wedding inquired who catered for us because they were so impressed with the quality and taste of the food. Rick and Lindsay are true professionals and took the time to answer all my questions along the way to prepare for our big day. Lindsay and the other staff were so wonderful on the day of our wedding that while the groom, myself, and our bridal party were all busy taking photos during our cocktail hour they made sure to also serve us drinks and hor d’oeurves, which was so appreciated! Additionally one of the servers even carried my plate from the buffet to my seat for dinner as she didn’t want me to accidentally get anything on my dress! Rick Williamson, Lindsay and the wonderful staff at Williamson Caterers did a FANTASTIC job at our wedding last weekend. They were an absolute pleasure to work with from start to finish. My family and I felt listened to and valued as customers from our very first phone call and that level of care remained consistent throughout the entire process. Rick put us completely at ease throughout the entire planning process. He made himself available to us through phone conferences, emails, and food tastings, to to ensure that we felt confident that he understood exactly what we wanted and was going to make it happen. He went above and beyond, offering to communicate with my DJ, florist, etc. to make sure every detail of our wedding was perfect. That kind of individualized attention and service is so rare and absolutely did not go unnoticed. Rick runs a fantastic business and his love for what he does shows through in every detail. The food at our wedding was incredible and exactly what we wanted, and our guests are still calling us to rave about it. The staff was professional and thoughtful and did a wonderful job throughout the evening. I have no hesitation in saying that aside from the beauty of our venue (and of course, marrying my husband!), Williamson Caterers was by far the best part of my wedding. Williamson helped make our day a dream! We used them for our July 2018 wedding at Durham Hills Farm. When I first began researching Williamson, their website showed all the services they provide, different wedding packages, and prices! And their prices listed on their website are REAL, no surprises when you go to book with them. Right from the beginning of the booking , Lindsay was easy to communicate with, especially the weeks leading up to the wedding when you have a million questions. The quality of the service they provide the day of the wedding is top notch. Their wait staff is efficient and professional. They set up and clean up everything, and even help us move wedding decorations around as needed. Lindsay made sure the groom and I never went hungry and always had a drink in our hand. And most importantly, the food is AMAZING. We chose the BBQ buffet package, and no one was disappointed or hungry at the end of the night! There was a constant flow of passed hourdouvers, the main course was plate cleaning quality, and our guested loved the ice cream bar! Very happy with WC for our wedding. Delicious and customized apps were great! Lindsay and Rick were very flexible and worked with us to serve the beer and cake we specially selected. Lots of suggestions and thoughtful touches like pre-ceremony refreshments, sending staff to serve the bridal party during pictures, plated salad for buffet, prosecco toast, etc. - and it was great that everything was included in the base price!! We just hosted our daughters wedding and Williamson's catered the event. They were fabulous. From the beginning of the planning process when Rick did a tasting at our home to the wedding reception, I knew we were in good, experienced hands.
As the mother of the bride, I didn't have to worry about a thing the evening of the event. Rick and his staff were attentive to the smallest detail, were pleasant, and efficient.
It was New Years Eve and they were on time with the toast at midnight, had the cake sliced and packed at the end of the event, and kept the evening going at a perfect pace. I would recommend them strongly.... and would definitely plan on using them again. More...

Can't say enough how great Williamson's were to work with for my recent wedding! Being at a private residence that had never hosted a wedding before was challenging enough as it was and Rick, Lindsay and Chris were all extremely helpful in answering any questions I had and provided great guidance along the way. We had some unexpected rain for an outdoor ceremony at the last minute and they scrambled to ensure the guests remained happy during the delay. Having Williamson as our caterer was honestly one of the best parts of our wedding. From day one, they went out of their way to accommodate every need, question and concern. Rick and Lindsay were amazing to work with, helped with all of the set up and break down of the decorations and truly made our wedding day perfect. Williamson has the best selection for appetizers, meals, desserts and alcohol AND their food is delicious. I would recommend Williamson to anyone and hope to use them again in the future. You can seriously not go wrong in booking Williamson Caterers for your wedding day or event. We collaborated with primarily Lindsay to plan a wedding styled shoot at the Baldwin School. She exceeded our expectations. From getting linens, supply plate ware and glassware was the start. Her eye for detail and colors helped the shoot come to life. The salad and entrees were not already amazing, but the dessert station and special cocktail were INCREDIBLE. Williamson was our caterer at the Brandywine Manor House for our wedding 12/23/17. All the food was amazing (many guests were impressed! ) and they did a fantastic job with set-up, break-down, and keeping the bar moving along!

The staff was very helpful and leading up to the wedding the company was in constant communication with me about any questions/concerns/options. Thank you to Rick and his team for working with us to come up with a menu that fit our budget and our taste! Thank you to Lindsay for fielding all of our questions along the way and being sure the final menu and run of things was coordinated! I cannot say enough great things about Rick Williamson, his team, as well as the coordinator Lindsay Showmaker. Rick & Lindsay met with both families for a food tasting, and helped us feel at home. They were more than willing to answer questions, and even connected us to a program "All Seated" that provided us a visual layout of the venue. This was a great asset when trying to decide on seating arrangements for the guests. This company met our every need from food selection, signature drinks, delicious appetizers( guests are still praising those beef tips), as well as the amazing desserts. The staff was always checking in to make sure both myself and husband had some type of food and drink during our busy evening. Rick was very respectful and mindful of those guests in attendance who needed special accommodations. I cannot say enough good things about Williamson’s! Lindsay and the whole staff made our wedding day go so smoothly, were so friendly, and they just could not have done a better job. The food was amazing and we got so many compliments on it during the wedding and after. The wait staff brought us hors d'oeuvres down to the bridal suite during cocktail hour and were constantly checking in with me and my husband throughout the night to see if we needed drinks or anything else- we wanted for nothing! It even started raining at the end of our ceremony and they helped run umbrellas out to us!
