We had lessons on the simulator and another half hour on the horses. It was very useful to start riding on the simulator to feel the movement and trotting for no experience people. Then it was exciting and fun to get on the horse. Our instructor were both kind, patient and professional. Beautiful and well trained horses. Location was a bit different from my GPS and Google map, but easy to find with the help from friendly neighbors. Classes are mostly full during term break, so better call in advance. More...

As a horse owner myself I was very happy with the care of the animals, they are not over worked and their tack is all well fitted and of good quality. There is a wide range of horses and ponies to cater for all abilities, with knowledgeable staff to advise and help. I did my stage 1 BHS assessment at wildwoods riding centre last week. The exam was extremely stressful but the staff at wildwoods made it so much better. The facilities are top class. The two horses I rode at my exam were only amazing. The first horse.Rosie I took an immediate liking. I met my perfect mount.! The stables themselves were roomy clean and comfortable. I would recommend wildwoods and I so want to return. It is a beautiful place in the English countryside. The staff are so kind especially Jan the secretary. Thank you so much wildwoods. My boyfriend and I attended today for the first time. The staff were really nice, they assesed our ability in the school before we went out hacking. The lady who took us out was really knowledgeable and helpful both about riding and the local area. Horses were very friendly and easy going. We had a great ride in some lovely countryside.
