Avoid at all costs!!! My partner is stuck in a 18 month hellish experience where she has dealt with 7 different people at Whyfield and is now £thousands out of pocket. Our experience of Whyfield is; - incredibly poor advice that’s led to £thousands of overpaid tax and not a single care from Whyfield - a revolving door of staff. It’s clear they treat their staff like their customers- so they leave - appalling customer service, not answering the phone, returning calls or messages. - Whyfield are NOT chartered accountants BEWARE!!! Having just completed our 3rd financial year with Whyfield, I sat down to write the team a thank you message that reflected our gratitude for the working relationship we have with multiple members of the team. I also went to leave a review as I do for many of our suppliers at this time of year. I am shocked and saddened to see that Accountants clearly suffer from the same treatment as hospitality with malicious reviews, and worse, multiple manufactured reviews to support a grievance. As our business has navigated it’s way post pandemic through some unchartered waters, we have needed to invest in greater support and guidance from Whyfield to ensure not only compliance but how to pivot our business and ensure it’s long term security and growth. Without Laura and her team, we would be in a very different position now. Whyfield represent all aspects of my business from payroll to supplier payments and processing. Cashflow planning, future proofing and as a friendly ear when new opportunities present themselves. Whilst I am clearly not privy to disputes between Whyfield and a client, I can comment on not only the professionalism of Laura, Rachael and the rest of the team but with their innovative and pragmatic approach to business life. I truly believe that you get back what you put in. For anyone reading this review, please know that it has not been manufactured, it is a genuinely sad response having read a detailed and almost certainly, one-sided review that professionally, Whyfield cannot respond to publicly. At least in the hospitality industry we have the freedom to expand on any issues that arise and give the full picture to the reader. I would happily provide a professional reference for Whyfield and would suggest that anyone who is seeking their services to do their own due diligence rather than rely on social rankings. I have to say Kerry Eastmond is an extraordinary Accountant. She has delivered way above and beyond whatever a ‘normal’ service would be. I knew that Kerry had successfully coached another member of our team, but I was not expecting such a stalwart level of support for our organization at a crucial time. When we started our Annual Accounts, Kerry impressed as competent and professional. However, as we introduced (unintentional) curved balls, her competence really shone.
