I hired Doug for my wedding at University of Richmond and Jefferson Lakeside Country Club last April. Not only was Doug professional and informative during the initial intake process but he also referred me to a videographer which turned out to be a wonderful experience. Doug and his wife truly captured every special moment of my day and they looked and acted professional the day of my wedding. Most people attending the wedding commented on how Doug was always on the look out to capture every moment and my wedding photos have been complimented by everyone who has seen them. Doug and Jill are the ever cheerful couple behind Wendell Powell, and they are simply amazing! Superb photography, reliable, and on top of their game. From start to finish, the customer experience was terrific. Their staff is personable and helpful, making for a very relaxed experience. They do not have an aggressive sales approach and are genuinely focused on making sure they are able to get the best photos without being intrusive or pushy.
