A pup that I take care of occasionally goes to the doggie daycare program and I can't even believe how much he loves it! He goes nuts as we are driving towards the facility in anticipation of how much fun he's going to have with his doggo posse. Rosa loved her stay here! I'll use these guys again! Highly recommend! When she came back home, it was a seamless transition. Like we never left. This place is the next best thing to staying at 'grandma's house'! So cool! Staff treated my little girl like she was family. I loved the photos and reports they sent daily. This feature was so beneficial to my piece of mind while away. I enjoyed seeing her smiling face playing with other dogs and making friends. Excellent social interaction they are promoting by mixing dogs based on personality and not size. This is a great place that understands how to treat our little fur babies. I brought my puppy here for the first time.. I was given a tour and updates through out the day with videos and pictures! We bring our rescue Bichon Prancer to Wagging tails often for the past year or more. We have him groomed, play day care, boarding! You all are terrific and go out of your way to make our little guy comfortable and us too! As someone here said ,we get updates everyday when we are away with photos. All we can say is that there are many places out there, everyone has a choice but you all make us feel that Prancer is safe, cared for and having a pleasant stay. Our dog looks forward to daycare every week!! The staff at wagging tails is so attentive and welcoming. I admit, I was so nervous before dropping my baby off with strangers and wondering what would happen all day. They made me feel very comfortable and our pup had a blast! They are very attentive to his needs, and even noticed a rash that we had been treating already. Just the fact that they cared enough to mention it made me feel better. They love our dog and I can tell as soon as he walks in he is excited and happy for daycare. They are always quick to reserve a spot for him and also work with us for last minute reservations. Wagging Tails is a wonderful business. The staff is always extremely pleasant and they always do a great job grooming my 4-year old cat. I have no qualms about taking her there for her nails and even asked them to bathe her. Despite my cat’s (loud) protests to the bath, she came out looking great and even looked adorable in her scarf. I have a nervous dog- and the staff here really took the time to understand her personality and to help her get comfortable with the daycare at her own pace. By far the best place I have used for my dog. We have him groomed there and have also boarded him with the day care. They keep you constantly updated every day in how your pup is doing with pictures, their demeanor, friends and whether they are eating or not. I feel confident that my dog is well taken care of while she vacations at Waggin Tails. The facility is clean. The dog pens are adequate size. My dog gets exercise running and playing in the yard with the other dogs. They even had a little doggie pool for them to play. The staff are great...real animal lovers. Where do I even start? We LOVE Wagging Tails Pet Resort and Spaw. Just a quick note of what we experienced from another place before meeting Wagging tails. We left our fur baby at a boarding place last year near the Bradley airport and let me tell you my fur baby came home limping & collapsed on the floor where we ranned w/ him to the ER vet. I know my baby was abused and when I told the owner/manager about it she gave me a lame excuse on how he ran around indoors alot so he was tired I know that was total BS. And then she laughed on the phone as if it was a joke. Totally unprofessional I know he was abused some way. My husband went to go pick him up & our boy was so sad looking skinny & he even bit out daughter which is not like him at all. Never again I tell you. So... we looked into Wagging tails pet resort and Spaw in Wolcott,CT. They gave us a tour of the place & when you first walk in o..m..g! The place is sooo pretty and welcoming & they offer coffee (i dont drink coffee but the thought was kind) and the smell... forget it. So fresh... and so clean it doesnt smell like urine or dirty looking. It's very bright & calming. So after we got the tour we booked our first stay 1 wk because I was going away for my honeymoon. I was worried & nervous & wanted to call/video chat in on him but the staff is soooo sweet & amazing and gave me that piece of mind that he will be in good hands. They sent me pictures throughout the day of him playing on their beautiful clean cut new green grass & ramps & toys & staff playing with him. I love the fact that they keep you posted throughout the day. They send you report cards on your fur baby throughout the day and tell you if he ate all his food some food or left some food. And his behavior is also noted. He stood there so far maybe 3x and in those 3x my boy fights me to get in the truck because he wants to stay with the staff. Have you ever gone on a vacation & it was time to leave but you loved it so much that you start feeling down because you want to stay longer because you had such an amazing time? Yeah... that was my boy. Lol. I know he had an amazing time and I finally found my fur baby a place where he loves to go & now I feel so relieved & happy that he is in good hands. The only thing that I wish they offer is maybe 20% off Military Veteran discounts for the boarding. But other than that... I have NOTHING bad to say about this place. I love it & so does my boy. Its home away from home. I love it! So happy they gave me that peace of mind & made my boy feel sooo comfortable to the point he throws a tantrum because he wants to stay longer each and every time Thank you Wagging Tails Pet Resort and Spaw and God Bless you guys! You guys have a forever client here that's for sure.

Prepare for a wall of text because I am so happy with Wagging Tails! I visited twice before booking, once I went for a tour alone and then my boyfriend went as well a few weeks later. The staff is so kind and understanding and thoroughly showed us around the grounds and where the dogs are kept. They have nothing to hide and have no issues bringing you around the property. I visited other places that wouldn't even allow us to see where the dogs are kept. Who the heck would trust that? It is so clean in the back, it truly does not smell at all like a boarding facility.

When we dropped our dog off for his stay I was so nervous! Gail was so welcoming and let us play with our dog out in the huge yard before we left. He happily ran around the yard and sniffed everywhere. We left. I cried. But I knew he was in good hands.

We received videos/pictures and report cards daily. Our dog always looked very happy in the photos/videos. Whenever I called to check in on him, they were so kind and never once seemed bothered. I had a decent amount of requests due to my dog being a bit tough but they were so accommodating and I was shocked to hear how well he was behaving for them.

The website where you view the report cards on is super user friendly and in depth. They talk about the dog's day, how much they ate and let you know of medications administered (if your dog has any).

Some of the staff also lives directly on the property so I did not have to worry about my dog being left alone at night. So many other places gave me the 'oh the manager just lives down the block' story. That is not close enough in case of an emergency.

Their prices are also so fair. We used another boarding/daycare a few months ago (before we found out about Wagging Tails). Our dog was there for literally 24 hours and we were charged over $100. Wagging Tails does not nickel and dime you at all. They truly care about the dogs and don't charge you for every little thing.
