I am a professional photographer based in Andover with over 20 years experience. I am a former Army photographer, I retired from the Army in 2011 not set up my own business, Vision2photo Photography.
Since the time I left the Army my business has flourished, I have my own purpose built Studio which is located at my home where I take the many portrait pictures of family’s, new born and pets.

Photography is one of the most important aspects of any wedding, capturing those special memories that you can look back on in many years time, it is so important to get it right, if not it could ruin the whole day.
Thankfully with vision2Photo you need not worry as they are true professionals who genuinely love what they do, and will capture the day perfectly for you.
Right from the first meeting we were made to feel extremely welcome and relaxed, important when you don't like having your photo taken usually, and the sheer professionalism was evident throughout. Every shot had been carefully thought out and prepared, and there was none of the intrusion or disruption I have seen from other photographers. The quality of the photos is plain to see for all checking out this site, but its all the little touches and the going of the extra mile which makes this company really special, it is clear that this is a couple who are truly passionate about what they do, and genuinely care about the wedding. . After seeing my friends photos from their wedding last year my wife and I decided to use them for our wedding.
We were so pleased with our wedding photos it became hard to pick our pictures for our wedding album as every picture was amazing.

What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
The secret to a great photograph is quite simple putting the subject as ease, it is so easy these days to take a technically perfect picture but to produce a picture with an uneasy subject can be difficult sometimes. With every photographic project that I am involved in I take the time to talk to my subjects to relax them and to have a little fun during the shoot, this can bring the best out of a person.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
With all my clients wether its a Portrait session, wedding or a commercial client my first question is ‘What would You like’. I believe that all my projects is about the client and what they want, so often this can be overlooked.
What do you love most about your job?
Being a professional photographer is a wonderful job as it gives me the opportunity to meet some truly wonderful people. I love to meet new people and to learn about the different facets of our society. I also love being able to create wonderful images of people, I often have tears from the bride when they view their wedding pictures for the first time.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Photography is not only my profession it is also being my life long passion, for me it was a natural progression for experimenting with my first point and shoot camera to now producing quality pieces of work.
Why should our clients choose you?
I am a consummate professional who is not only dedicated to his work but who cares about his clients. I have many years of experience in many fields of photography, I have my own studio and the latest digital equipment to produce the high standard of work that I am committed to.
