I love finding the solutions to each challenging job, working with different companies and providing images to help promote their business.

I was inspired to start my own business after working as an assistant to a top advertising photographers in Brighton & London.

I have heavy professional experience and have been solely working as a commercial photographer for 30 years. I use top quality equipment, built for speed which produces the highest quality results. I can quickly and efficiently produce high quality images and provide them to you in the formats and sizes you require.

Services

I have been working in commercial photography for over 30 years, combining technical expertise with creative flair, to produce powerful images for my clients to promote their business. I am used to working with advertising and PR agencies, graphic designers, marketing teams and direct to business

I have been producing high quality advertising photography for over 30 years. I work directly with advertising agencies, creative designers and marketing teams, on specific campaigns for local businesses in Dorset, throughout the UK and internationally. My technical photographic skills, creative ideas and extensive experience in advertising photography enable me to deliver your marketing photography requirements.

I like to work closely with my clients and enjoy the challenge of responding quickly to the most demanding of briefs. I work hard to quickly create the very best digital photography, within budget, to exceed client’s expectations. This typically includes corporate & product brochures, catalogues, company reports, magazine & newspaper ads, posters, billboards, exhibitions & trade fairs, leaflets, flyers, mail-shots, email campaigns, online website, banners etc.

Decades of experience in product photography has enabled me to consistently deliver high quality shots for my clients that stand out from the competition. The skills learnt in the early days as assistant photographer, shooting on film, have transferred well to todays digital workflow in product photography in particular.

My lighting expertise enables met to work at speed achieving effective setups which often require no or limited retouching, while at the same time producing high quality creative images efficiently and cost-effectively.

In the 1980s I served my apprenticeship with top advertising photographers in London and Brighton where I learnt the skills of room set photography. Some aspects of room set photography have inevitably changed quite substantially over the years since, but many of the underlying techniques that I learnt are still very much in use for today’s room set photography.

Using today’s modern digital technology, stunning results can be now be achieved far more economically. Re-touching helps considerably and is often used post-shoot to achieve highly creative effects, to correct imperfections, to change background colours & patterns, as well as altering “out of window” views etc. Sets do now not need to be so perfect in construction as retouching is often a more cost-effective way of achieving the same results.

My clients in the field of furniture design have chosen to work with me for many years. This has allowed me to hone my skills for photographing furniture and establish a reputation as an expert in this area of photography.

Decades of experience have enabled me to understand how deliver the very best images for my clients purposes whether it is to reflect the warmth and beauty of the timber or to manage reflective surfaces such as mirrored glass or chrome.
